It was tight across the front of the left foot - the right shoe was good.

Since they only come in whole sizes, size 9 was recommended though I wear a 9-1/2. Not surprisingly, 9 was too small. Would have liked to have tried this show in a size that fits, but no half sizes, no luck! Cute sandal, though. Nice cushioned sole, and adequate width.

I bought these for light hiking in hot weather. They are made really well, but for my right foot the shoe was too short. Very sturdy. I ran out of time to reorder a bigger size but the 71/2 would have been better. The beige was a great color very neutral and would have gone well with everything.

More pink than red but really comfortable

So I went to my local shoe store in the vain hope that they would have my size. Spoiler alert, they didn't. But the just-slightly-too-small pair that I tried on was comfortable (except for being just slightly too short) and cute, so I ordered my size from Zappos. What a disappointment! These shoes have a weird ridge in the sole for some reason, I guess it is supposed to fit in the joint where your toes meet your foot, that is just a blister waiting to happen. I have no idea what the purpose of this is. And the fabric of the strap around my ankles was so stiff and scratchy! All I can say is that I'm grateful Zappos makes returns so easy!!

Oh, how I really wanted to love these shoes. I was concerned about the whole size options only. I'm usually 8.5 but based on other reviews I tried the 8 and they fit great. The toe box was generous, good arch support and there was great traction. So why the mediocre review? The strap was awful. It was pretty short, so the top part did not cover the bottom piece of Velcro. And it was very stiff. If it was stiff and uncomfortable just while trying them on around the house, I expect that it would feel worse throughout the day and in different terrain.

Very cute shoe that I really hoped would work for me. I have bunions and crossover toes so I need width and depth in the toe box. This had width--and the styling is cute--but lacked the depth I need for comfort. I'm sad, but back it goes.

I wanted to love these but no arch support and the velcro strap barely reached around the back of my ankle to secure it on. Sadly returning these.

I really wanted to like these, but the inside of the toe box was rough where the fabric met the leather strip.

I was VERY hopeful about these shoes, and was hoping to replace a pair of Teva Maryjanes that I've had for over 5 gently-worn years. They look feminine enough with a not-too-chunky/rugged sole so that they could be worn with a casual summer dress. Especially in black. It seems they would also handle a good crosstown holiday walk. But the toe box is too narrow right across the widest part of my foot. Worst of all though is the toe box material on the tops of my toes. Not soft at all and will certainly rub me raw. The heel feels significantly cushioned and ready for impact, but there's not enough arc support for my high arches. I would also be concerned that the nubuck exterior would scuff easily. Why are SO many activity-shoes/sandals being made with nubuck when the scuff so unforgivably? Sadly, and with brutally dashed hopes, I must return.

Yet another shoe that lacks half sizes, and as a result the recommended size is too small. Nice looking shoe, but it has to back because my toes are right up to the tip.
