These are even better than I expected. I bought them for an outdoor trip to Jackson Hole, WY. I used them on short hikes to the lake (note they are not hiking shoes but get the job done on easy/ moderate hikes),and while kayaking and river rafting. They are perfect amphibious shoes and I highly recommend them.

I saw an article on these shoes as a good shoe to go in an out of water, but they also talked about how comfortable they are as a casual/sporty shoe, well I received them last week, they are now my new favorite summer shoe. I can wear with or without socks and my feet are cool and comfortable. They are as light as my sandals, if not lighter. So happy with the purchase, thanks Zappos

Love the shoe. Took a bit getting used to from my previous Nike shoe that was also thin and lightweight. This Northface seems a bit narrower on the inside and was causing a bit of pressure on my foot.
