These boots are very comfortable, however they are not waterproof. They leak badly, even hiking through dewy grass. If you need waterproof boots, these are not for you.

Nice sturdy boot, but wish it had a zipper for easy in and out.

It was great! The traction was terrific. I went hiking and they were comfy and good for being in the wilderness. The color was exactly how it was shown in the picture too!

Ordered these shoes in a pinch before a 4 week camping trip in CA and I absolutely love them! I’ve worn them for 2 weeks now and they’ve been great! My feet don’t get hot and sweaty and I’ve had no problems with them leaking water. Color is really nice too, definitely recommend.

These are great boots. lightweight and very comfortable. I returned my 6.5 for a 7 due to a new orthotic that cause the 6.5 to be too tight.

I am very happy with this boot for both hiking ( sturdy, Enchanted Rock vertical) and every day wear. The size was as expected, I have wide feet so I ordered a 9W and it felt very good, I still felt a little pinch on my right bunion which is always an issue, but mild stretching with a shoe stretcher took care of that. Just to mention in this review, I just bought a pair of All Out Blaze 2 and since there was no wide option I gambled thinking the pic looked like the toe box was deep. The size 9 is great width, fit perfectly, great arch so was pleasantly surprised to get a women's in regular width that fit, no stretching needed. For this boot I felt the 9 was long so ordered an 8.5. Funny how shoes and boots are different sizes. I sell women's shoes and am finding the same thing, sizes very unpredictable these days. But what ever works.

Felt a full size smaller than marked and I have really narrow feet. Also they are more of a purple color than blue.

Decided it was time to replace my old Merrell hiking boots that I've had since 2004! After reading lots of reviews for a variety of boots and brands I decided on these and I am not disappointed! I wore them to work a couple times, where I mostly sit at a desk, before taking these on a trip that included two hikes. Risky, I know, but I didn't have any problems - despite the fact that they do run a little small. I figured they would stretch, and after two back to back hikes, it didn't bother me. Also, excellent ankle support. I sprained my ankle a couple months ago and these were great going over jagged rocks/unstable terrain.

I needed new hiking shoes and wanted something water resistant and lightweight. These are great. Not the prettiest shoes, but hiking shoes aren't usually great looking. They are lightweight and comfortable. I usually wear a 7-7 1/2 and would up ordering the 8.

I have finally found MY boots. I wore them to hike 8 miles in the beautiful Hocking Hills in Ohio and my feet did not tire or get sore. I prefer the brown leather boot look, so I was happy to find this pair in the brown color because they are so much more versatile (style-wise) than the bright colors on the synthetic materials. Also these are very lightweight which is important to me. The toe box area feels just a bit narrow but I like the streamlined look - these boots do not make your foot look huge. The manner in which the laces can be tightened individually really improves the fit quality. I would prefer more arch support, but a Berry Supefeet insert keeps my arches happy.

I really liked these boots. Unfortunately they felt just a little short. My foot measures between an 8 and 8.5. I ordered an 8.5 to be safe. But with a hiking sock my toes hit the end.

I have worn Merrell shoes for years because they fit well. The last two pairs I have purchased I have had to return for a half-size larger.

As others have said, this boot felt slightly small in the length, although the width felt true. It's lightweight and has very good ankle and arch support. The back of the heel top felt a little uncomfortable and ungiving. I am returning and trying a larger size in the Moab 2 and hope for better results.

I have high arches and easily rolled ankles so have been searching for a sturdy hiking boot for some time. These feel great, I was able to wear them right out of the box--no break in period. My only concern is that the breathable material will not wear well, but only time will tell.

I had a previous pair of Merrel Sirens which I have happily worn out during several years of day hiking and backpacking. I quickly ordered a replacement pair, but I did exchange them for MOABS. The latest version of the Siren does not have a Vibram sole. This is essential to me because I hike on lots of slippery rock in the Adirondacks and the Catskills (wet, rocky peaks in the Northeast.) I also was disappointed in the color options. Stay tuned, because more updates on this boot will be out this coming winter.

There is zero support in this shoe and the structure/fabric around the ankle/leg area is very uncomfortable.

Narrow and felt a whole size smaller than sized and I have other Merrells. Not as colorful as pictured - everything blended.

read reviews prior to ordering...sizing seems to run small as I ordered a 1/2 size bigger to accommodate thicker socks when I hike, but that wasn't enough (otherwise like the boot)

WAY TOO NARROW in the toe box!! My toes were extremely pinched in at the toes, on both sides. The shoes were even marked as wide width! I purchased a 9.5 wide women's.
