This is a sturdy, comfortable, leightweight hiking shoe. The sole has great support and grip, and the shoes are very comfortable. I use these for light duty hiking trips in warm weather and love them.

I have had multiple North face shoes and I will say these are far the worst ones. They don't have the vibrant sole so they slip easier than I'm used to.
They are also hot on my feet, seems they don't breathe very well.
They also run a size big! So plan for that.
My opinion is it's worth paying more for the vibrant sole.
They are comfortable until you are on a trail and you are wondering if your next step will be secure!
