These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. Hiking in the high elevation desert every day means I need a solid, comfortable shoe. I suffer from blisters if my shoes aren't just right, and these have not given me a single one. Great ventilation, plenty of traction for many types of desert terrain, and really just so comfortable. I love these shoes and see why they get such high praise.

Wore these on a hike at Mount Rainier straight out of the box and they were very comfortable. Love them!

My daughter and I both purchased these hiking shoes about a month ago. We used them while hiking in the adirondack mountains. I also wore them again, at another park in New York. We absolutely LOVE these shoes! Super comfortable, and they don't lose their grip, even when hiking in some muddy areas. Overall, a great pair of shoes for doing some moderately difficult trails!

I love these shoes! They are comfy and provide excellent arch support. I took these camping and haven't taken them off since! They go with every outfit and make me feel confident walking on all terrains, even slippery rocks!

Just went to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and hiked all week with these. LOVED these shoes, comfortable, no blisters. Pretty cute too

Love these shoes! I used to wear another brand and added insoles to help with plantar fasciitis. My sister told me about these and I've been wearing them ever since. No insoles required! I wear them everywhere - even around the house - to keep my feet aligned and no more plantar fasciitis! Thank you, Merrill!

Great shoe. I love the support the shoe gives for all activities. I got these for camping but ended up wearing them everyday instead.

I have been wearing Moab ventilators for about 9 years and they are my favorites. No sore feet all day at work, hiking on the beach or on a trail, through water or sand, they last a long time and stay comfortable. I heard they were going to be discontinued, and I surely hope not because they are my do-it-all shoe!

Love these shoes. These have been my go to for years now. I did like 50 miles in the first week of use with my brand new pair with no break in needed. I do recommend additional inserts though for some cushion and arch support, but I have custom orthotics so maybe it's just me.

These are perfect run around town shoes. They do take a minute to break in and are not waterproof but breathable. Love the look and feel. The wide toe box is perfect for me as I prefer not to squeeze into my shoes.

I have a bad and weak ankle so rocky terrain can be difficult but with these shoes I was able to navigate with ease through the trail without any problems or issues afterwards. I am happy with my purchase and looking forward to more hikes.

They ran big for me. Return was easy and I got 1/2 size smaller. They are still plenty roomy. I have six miles on them, love how stable they feel.

I went hiking in the Grand Canyon these were comfortable and light. They gave me the stability I needed on the terrain.

I ride my bike to work at a retail nursery. These shoes are great for the bike ride and for the eight to nine hours I am on my feet each day. I also use them for walks around town and the occasional hike in local parks and mountains. Really comfortable and supportive.

Comfortable and supportive hiking shoes. They feel sturdy and are a replacement of my last Merrells that I've been wearing for 5+ years but got holes and decided it was time to upgrade. Unfortunately I don't know what model those were but they were size 8 and I had to get 8.5 in these. Happy with my purchase!

These trail shoes hold up the best for the gravel and dirt back roads that my dog and I travel daily.

I purchased a 7 wide and they fit perfectly (I usually wear a 7.5 shoe and an 8 running shoe). But the 8 was huge and I had to send it back and exchange. The first time I wore them, they felt like I had had them for while. Totally comfortable and no "break in" time required!

Very comfortable with a little extra toe room. This extra makes it easy to wear heavier socks when needed. The sole makes for stable footing.

The most comfortable shoe ive bought in a long time. They arrived on Tuesday and went to Africa on Friday. They were my only shoe on my safari and they were perfect !

Shoes are lightweight, breathable. Wore them on vacation hiked in them without any issues.

I've had several pairs of Moab 2 Ventilators. (Finding shoes I like in a wide width isn't as easy as I wish it were.) I've enjoyed (and gotten good wear from) all of them. I was a bit concerned by some of the recent comments indicating that the quality of the shoe wasn't what it used to be, but decided to take a chance with a new pair anyway. Glad I did because I can honestly say that so far as I can tell the quality is as good as it ever was. (Although I do admit that it seems to me that the shoelaces on the current pair aren't quite as long as the length on the older pairs. But that's just a subjective impression; haven't taken the time to actually take them out and measure them side to side, and they are certainly long enough to double tie the way I've always done.) Still a 5-star product in my book!

These are wonderful shoes. The support is unparalleled, which is key for our daily 3-mile speed walks. I have bilateral bunions that I have no intention of having surgically corrected and the wide size accommodates that issue very nicely! Best shoes out there, I never wear any other brand.
