I was happy that there is a bit more room in the toe box as I ordered my regular size (8.5) but will be using them to walk and hike as well. They are very comfortable and well made. I guess my only caveat would be that they are definitely 'hot' shoes. I have a pair of the waterproof and those are hot as well so I thought these would be cooler. Not much. Other than that, they are wonderful right out of the box!

Trying to break them in slowly. I love Merrell products. This is the first time I bought hiking boots. Going to Amsterdam in April plan to do a great deal of walking and light hiking.

I've been wearing Merrell Moabs for years. This would have been my 4th pair. One reason I like Moabs is the more narrow toe box. I was totally surprised when I took these shoes out of the box to see that the toe box had changed! The toe box was rounder and fuller---different from my old shoes. Not sure why Merrell made this change. I ended up returning them and ordering Merrell Outmost Vent. These fit great and the toe box is similar to the Moabs.

Nice design, comfortable and great for more serious hiking but a little heavy for my purposes.

Super sturdy shoes. I did not keep these because they were a little large on my feet. I have pretty narrow feet though.

I returned these because they looked a little too much like hiking boots. They were also too big.

I have a pair of Merrell like this with the high tops. I have wide, flat feet with narrow heels and have been wearing them comfortably all winter and spring. So I ordered the Moab 2, thinking it would be the same fit with a lower cut for summer walking. Even though I took out the liner and replaced with my own, I kept feeling the arch support poking into my non-existent arch.

Comfy and do like but come up too high on ankle opposed to other style shoes. Sometimes gets annoying. But great support

Disappointed. Not as comfortable as the sirens, which I hoped these would replace. They are also heavier and more bulky. They were comfortable, but not my favorite trail shoe. These are good for easy to moderate trails.

I like a lot of things about these shoes - Moab Ventilator 2 - they are good looking, feel very sturdy, have a ton of support, and a good sole. But they don't fit as well as I'd like. I came back to make sure I'd ordered the regular width and not the Wide, which I did. But the right shoe feels at least a half size larger than the left - and my right foot is my "bigger" foot. I've been trying on the right shoe in any pair any time I went to a shoe store, for my entire adult life. This is the first time I've ever run into my right foot feeling like it's slipping around in a shoe while my left foot is happy and comfortable. I did buy online after hearing some really good things about Merrell, but I think I'll have to go to a store if I ever purchase this brand again.

I loved the shoe and the fit EXCEPT the arch was too high or too far back on my foot making the fit uncomfortable. I was really sad to not be able to keep and use these shoes.

I wear a size 10 in every shoe I own. My big toe in these hits the inside tip of the shoe, even with thin socks. Interestingly, I also purchased the Bravado 2 and it fits perfectly, even with thicker athletic socks. The cushioning seems to also be lacking in the toe box.

I needed a new pair of these and to my surprise they were not a comfortable as an older pair I have. I think the sole is much too firm, no cushioning, so my feet ache in these a bit. Probably won't buy again. Both shoes have also developed wear tears on the inner side, possibly where my heal rubs when I walk, although I don't notice it.

Sizing runs 1/2 size small. I wear 8.5 or 9 women's shoe. Bought size 9 Merrill's. My big toe hits the front of the shoe with just thin socks on. Can wear for short walks, but for serious day-long hikes that I bought them for, I will get blisters once my feet warm up with No toe room to breathe. Sad.

Toooo wide! I think as hoping for a wide forefoot area but these were wide all throughout shoe. Had to return.

The shoe seemed to fit ok - I only tried on the right one. I did not like the fact that the area between the suede going across the top and the black toe cap the material puffed up. It had a very strange look to it. I am not keeping the shoes - great sale price but I like to love new shoes.

Too wide I have a pair from years ago and wanted these so much but they must have changed the template-/ even with heavy socks they’re wide.

These shoes are made well but they are hard on my feet. Working to find an insert to make them a little more squishy for better comfort. I walk 3-4 miles most days. I wish I could say I love them as much as I do my previous Merrill's.

I really like how this shoe looks before it is on my foot. I do have wide feet and high arches & order my usual size 8W. The toe box is roomy, but height-wise vs. width-wise, affecting the look of the shoe....it was obvious. The top of the toe seemed to be "inflated" or something...hard to describe. I'd say length was at least a 1/2 size larger than expected. Very cushioned around the ankle, but that give caused my sock to be sucked into the shoe when walking. Arch support is better than most shoes, even without an additional insert. At first they felt comfy right out of the box, but after about 10 minutes walking quickly in the house, I could feel that my pinky toe was not happy...maybe the padding should be in the toe box? Anyway, good price, but fit not for me. Sending them back.

Buying hiking shoes is always a nightmare for me. When I do find a pair I like, they're always discontinued. These were the best I could find, and I still got terrible hot spots and blisters on the insides of my heels and the balls of my feet. To combat this, I have to lace them so tightly the laces fray and sometimes the nerve on top of my foot is unhappy. i eventually found a lacing pattern that worked, but I miss my Salomons. These are my backup/trash hikers while I save my Salomons for the Grand Canyon. But they have lasted a long time! I've had them for a year and worn them in so much mud and they're still hanging on, so props for that.

Nice shoe but they were returned. I have a wide, flat foot and these the Moab's didn't suit me at all.
