This is my first pair of Merrells and hiking shoes in general. I used to hike in nike running shoes, but now my eyes have been opened and I will never go back. These shoes were amazing on our recent hike up Olomana Trail in Kailua, HI. I can't wait to use them again!

Frst pair I can wear for the wide width and make. Please don't change these.

This is my first pair of Moabs, and I absolutely love them. I want to start by saying that I have never bought hiking shoes before, but we had a spring break trip in Big Sky, Montana and Yellowstone National Park over spring break. Before we went, I did spray them with waterproofing spray, and it worked perfectly. The Moabs kept my feet dry even when we encountered slushy snow and warm without being too hot. I also loved the fact that they were comfortable from the first minute I put them on and did not require any breaking in. We hiked several miles at a time, and my feet were happy every minute. I wholeheartedly recommend the Moab 2 Ventilator for new or seasoned hikers.

Feels good on your feet right out of the box. My favorite shoe for sure. They last and last even after daily wear!

I purchased my Merrells to go hiking in. I am very happy with them. Good grip, great stability, perfect width, and great comfort.

Great shoes for everyday wear and light hiking. Really no break in time. Good support and easy to wear with my orthotics. Highly recommend!

I have had a number of Merrell shoes - the Moab 2 being the last. They are very sturdy shoes and long-lasting. The Moab 2 ventilator is extra roomy in the toe box.

Love these! Bought a pair in July 2020 and this order is my back-up pair! We do a lot of long walks and hikes and the Keen hikers that I've used in the past had been discontinued. Trying to find a replacement, these were suggested. I have wide feet in the front and these fit the Bill-no pressure across the ball of my foot.

Super comfortable the first time I used them on a 6 mile hike/run.

My second pair of these. I walk every day 2+ miles and these are also great on simple trail hikes. The first pair lasted almost four years with a change of inserts.

I buy at least one pair of merrell hikers for work, did myself, my husband and my employee! We stand on concrete all day and walk miles delivering our product to our customers. They hold up very well and are extremely comfortable. My son wears his shoes out in six months but so far his merrell shoes last for over a year before he has a blow out.

Bought these to replace my rather worn out Moab Ventilators that I used a LOT for hiking. They are even better that the originals which I bought quite a few years ago. Comfortable right out of the box. Fit well and provide the support I need for my flat, overpronating feet.

These are great for a first pair of hiking shoes! I would recommend to break them in a little before you go on a hike. I used this for steep hills and they helped me so much.

Loved breaking in my new shoes at the Grand Canyon! (Alternated with the old pair of course during break in!)
