I have a hard time finding shoes that fit, these are great shoes! Comfortable, even with my bunions, and I am able to wear for several hours right out of the box. I've hiked and walked many steps in my previous pair, expect to get same results from these. They wear well.

Love the comfort and fit

I wear 7.5 shoes and have found wider widths have been better fits as I have gotten older. BUT, in this case I returned the 7.5 W shoe for a 7 Normal width shoe. The toe box was just too big and, on a formidable hike, my foot would be swimming in this shoe. Not what you want when you need your whole foot bed supported. I still gave this shoe 5 star ratings across the board because I have worn several of these Merrell shoes over 30 years and it is a keeper for hikes.

The Merrell Moab 2 Vent shoes have been a staple in my closet for years! I have a second pair ordered when I start wearing the a new pair so I have a replacement in my preferred color on hand at all times. I do the same with the waterproof [they are more like "water resistant"] version of the shoe. I wear orthotics which easily the replace the insert that comes with the shoe. I am petite and weight a bit over 100 pounds and am very active.

Very cute, comfy and solid feeling hiking shoe! I was very comfortable hiking Zion in these.

Bought these at the last minute for a hiking trip. Even though I had no time to break them in, they were so comfortable on all the trails! The soles were sturdy and stable on all types of terrain, and the mesh allowed some ventilation without letting in all the dust. I was wearing them for up to 14 hours at a time and not only had no issues, my feet and legs felt great at the end of the day. Didn't have a chance to test the water resistance but with the thick soles and well-made seam areas, I'd expect I could walk through some muck without seepage. I'm a size 7 but for whatever reason, I'm always a size 8 in athletic shoes so I needed an 8 for these. The colors don't look dirty (even when they are) and are super neutral for whatever I might be wearing. Love these!

Good fit. True to size. I have high arches and these shoes have arch support! With other shoes, I have to use arch inserts.

good looking and good fitting

I thought the shoe was fine. Unfortunately for me it was too wide and too long. I wanted a shoe with a hiking sole and that shoe seemed to fit the bill.

Supportive, great fit, excellent arch support. I’m a true 7, with a high arch, and these felt wonderful. Wore them standing all night fir a swim meet and while my feet still hurt by the end of the night, my back didn’t. They’re pretty weighty in a good way (since intended fr hiking.) True test will be hiking and climbing in CO next week in them!

I am between a 7 and 8 and recently have had trouble finding a goof fit. These are 7 1/2 and are slightly large but feel good.

These are particularly perfect for me, an avid walker, with mild neuropathy affecting my feet. The laces are sturdy, strong, and don’t slip. I appreciate the boot-like strength of these.
