This is my first pair of Merrells, and I'm a fan. We live near the Delaware Canal Path in PA, and I was noticing that the bottoms of my feet were getting sore from frequent walks/runs. After wearing my new Merrells, my feet are 100% better. I usually wear 6 1/2 Wide, and that's what I got. They are probably a little wider than necessary, but extremely comfortable, and I can lace them to fit perfectly.

I LOVE these shoes! I have flat, wide feet and it is hard to find a wide, comfortable shoe. I will never wear anything else but Merrell's!

I bought these boots for Grand Canyon rafting trip. I immediately walked miles over desert rocks, thru hip deep pools, and up rocky ledges and felt secure and comfortable at every step. Great product!

Smoke colorway - the leather portions are more tan than in the picture, but otherwise the shoe is great!

I have had three pairs of these. They never need breaking in. I just put them on and my feet go, "Aaaahh!" I have very spread out toes and these work well for me.

I suffer from plantar fascitis, new shoes are important to me. These were amazing... we were in Yellowstone for days and my feet were fine! They are so comfortable!

This is my second pair of Moab 2 Ventilators, I bought my first pair in 2003. They still had a lot of tread on the sole. My first pair took me all over San Diego hikes. Hiked in a day up to Mt Whitney and then on to New Zealand for a 3 day Routeburn Track. We moved to Utah recently and have hike pretty much everyday with my AmStaffi . I hope to get years of hiking in with my second pair

I have trouble finding wide width shoes. Not only do these shoes fit but all my Merrell shoes are consistently comfortable with a consistent fit. The support keeps foot and ankle pain away so I can keep up my walking and hiking routine. Wore these all over Yosemite. They are light enough so I can even hop on my bike, go on a hike, and wear them all day.

Great comfy walking shoes! My feet don't get too hot, either.

I didn't need the wide width I had ordered so I sent them back. I then ordered the medium and I am very pleased with them, especially with the sturdy sole. The bottom of my feet seem to be very tender and I often feel every pebble -- not with these. My feet are very happy.

Put these right on out of the box and hiked over 50 miles across the states of AZ and UT! Yes they were that comfortable and there was no need to break them in. Great hikers and I would definitely recommend!

I rarely write reviews of any products I buy . But my Merrell Moab2 Ventilator ( Wide) shoes are truly the most comfortable walking/ hiking shoe I have ever worn. I have the world's worst feet. I have bunions, Morton's Neuroma, ramifications from a broken toe, and issues from a broken foot. But my husband and I love to walk and hike . I bought my Merrells for a recent hiking trip to the Olympic Peninsula. The tracking on the bottom of the Moab 2 Ventilator allowed me to walk with ease on wet slippery, trails and climb over enormous rocks and logs along rugged beaches. The shoes stayed completely dry and my feet never hurt which never happens!! I absolutely love these shoes !!

Got these when previous Antoras developed splits in the MTP crease. The Moabs are way more supportive, and they feel secure on the loose gravel I walk every day. Only complaint is that the tread picks up a lot of small pebbles that need to be picked out later. As always, true fit and wearable right away w/o break-in.

I love these sturdy, supportive hiking shoes! I bought this exact pair that matched my old Merrell's. After a few years of summer hiking, the tred on my old shoes had worn down although they are still good for walks and moderate hiking. I have an ankle that I have sprained a number of times
(not in these shoes!) and these hiking shoes provide me with good support. I tried higher top hiking shoes but these low-tops offered far superior support! From the very first hike, they feel like comfy bedroom slippers. Just love them!

I wear these shoes in spring and summer for walking around the neighborhood. I am also a 70 year old RN that wears them at work because I supervise 7 stories and need to keep moving. I have the Moab 2 ankle high for hiking trails. Just ordered another pair because my others are getting worn.

Lightweight, grippy on loose or dry gravelly terrain, great arch support (I have high arches....), wide & sturdy shoe, stays laced, perfect fit, COMFY!!!! So far, so awesome. I've had them for 5 weeks and wear them every day to walk the dog in the desert and I even keep them on to work out with weights, run errands etc..

I purchased another pair of the same Merrell shoe after wearing these for dog walking and hiking. This shoe offers excellent support for someone with a small shoe size and plantar fasciitis. This is my "go to" shoe for walking and not my other athletic shoes.

This is the 2nd pair of Moabs I've had, and while I'm not all that active, I need a good shoe for knee and back issues, and these are perfect. Comfy out of the box!
