The wide width is perfect for feet that were medium in my younger days but now need to spread out more. The shoe has relaxed a bit, which leaves it comfortable and still protective. I prefer wandering in the woods as much as hiking trails, this shoe gets me up and down creek banks, through the mud, over rough and rocky ground then lingers with me while I enjoy the views.

These were my first pair of Merrels and they were the most comfortable and supportive shoes to take on our Spring Break hiking trails in North Georgia. I will never wear anything else, on any terrain than the Moab 2 Waterproof hikers!

Super comfortable supportive shoe!! Replaced an old worn out pair to wear on a pair of old worn out feet recovering from bilateral foot surgery and they have been perfect.

This is my 4th pair! They feel like siippers. I usualky wear a 7.5 - but take an 8 in these.

Really like these! Great for Winter walking and Spring hikes. Warm enough in Winter with heavy socks. Fit well and provide good stability for my flat, overpronating feet.

These shoes are very comfortable and didn't need breaking in. I have used them mostly just for walking my dog in the spring when it is muddy outside. They've felt great on our short hikes in the woods. Size ran a bit small, I ordered my usual size 7 at first, but had to exchange them for a 7.5, which fits great. Highly recommend!

This is my 4th pair of Merrill's . I decided to purchase on line to try the wide width waterproof Moab2. Happy with my decision..great fit dry feet I am happy hiker .

Very comfortable from the very beginning. Excellent support. I have to double tie the laces to keep them tied but that is my only complaint. Definitely waterproof. Went hiking twice now thru wet grass and a few streams and stayed dry.

Keeps my feet warm and dry and has excellent support.

I love the way these shoes feel. I wear them for work I'm on my feet all day. So again Merrell saves my feet,.

It is the perfect, keeping up with your two year old granddaughter during the spring, shoe! It slips on fast and it is so comfortable! The traction is awesome. I love my shoes!

Lightweight and sturdy hiker , gives me so much more confidence with secure footing on rocky uneven trails these are very comfortable have a durable and strong contamination dole and secure ankle support so I'm not worried about thoughtlessly turning an ankle the trails are very uneven moderately steep and some are like mountain gullies more than groomed or maintained trails and these are just the right hiking shoe for me especially in the desert and for our climate etc. oh love they came in larger women's sizes which are difficult for me to find

The Merrill Moab 2 feels like broken in hiking shoes the first time you put them on. This is my 4 pair. I do a lot of walking every day. I am the goose dog handler for the town of Black Mountain. Calvin (the goose dog) and I are out in all kinds of weather, For comfort, warm, and dryness, you can't beat the Moab.

True to size. Initially, they were snug and stiff but wore them a time or two before hiking and snowshoeing . Worked great and feet never got wet .

The shoe is perfect for me! I have a narrow heel that is prone to blistering. I tried the shorter ones without success and went to the mid- perfect. Plus the ankle support! Great for small hikes. Well made and great customer service. Highly recommend this shoe.

The shoes fit well, cradle your foot, give plenty of traction, and are attractive.

I just bought this new spring sneaker and I am very pleased with the construction material, comfort, and the look!I have bought MERRELL in the past because I was a letter carrier, and needed something that was comfortable, would breath, and really last, now retired, still purchase MERRELL

Love these shoes! I needed sturdy, supportive shoes for my work with horses at a vet hospital. I also have that start of plantar fasciitis in one foot. These are secure on my feet, great cushion, great grip for wet concrete floors, and my heel hadn't bothered me since I started wearing these.

Well made, although I find now they fit a bit small, had to return one pair and go a size up

I had pain in my ankles from walking and exercising... with these shoes, that pain is gone. I wear them almost all the time. Great support and comfortable! Ive had them over two weeks and will get another pair of the same shoes!

Super comfortable. No break in period required. Run a little narrow so if you have wide feet go with the wide width. Great support for long hours on your feet. Solid traction and definitely waterproof! Rugged and long lasting. This is my second pair. The first I had for four years and they were beat to heck for most of those four years. I replaced the insoles once. I was going to replace the laces when I noticed the back inside fabric was wearing out and the toe of one had a cut through the rubber, so I replaced the shoes instead. Otherwise they were still in decent condition.
