I am old and I work out. Running shoes, weightlifting shoes you name it. Brought a bunch of them to walk around Disney World! Suffered knee pain, hip pain, foot pain. Walking the streets near home same thing. Bought the above shoes. How incredible! Walked a MILE with no pain! These shoes are well made, well engineered and were so helpful! The gym is open again, the lifting shoes come off when we have to walk! Buying another pair of Merrells as soon as I can!

I previously rated this shoe and gave it a four star rating. These shoes really did deserve a five star rating after all the times the kept my feet dry and comfortable while wearing these shoes outside. I needed to a half size up from my usually size. I also needed to buy the wide version.

...wore out my firstpair, Just hope that you don't change them. Very comfortable and I'm picky about my shoes.

The stability and weight of this product is exactly what I was looking for. Wore them right away on a long hike with no issues.

I have purchased 4 of these exact shoes because of how well that they fit and feel. It is difficult to find shoes that are actually "wide" and are exactly the same year after year. Plus, they last me at least a year, great product!

This shoe is exactly as I was hoping it would be.

Just retired my 1st pair of Moab Waterproofs - got 5 years out of them and truly beat them up! They stayed looking great and comfortable to the last minute. Just got my new Moab 2 Waterproofs and very excited! I went from a 9.5 regular width to a 9 wide on the new ones, be careful the Moab 2's are not cut as wide as the original Moabs. Love these and would not wear anything else daily in my active life. The Waterproof is great for water, rain, mud and snow. Thank you for a great shoe!

I always have trouble with shoe sizes since I'm kind of between a size 14 and 15 and really no shoes in a 14.5. 14 and my toes are just touching the end and 15 are generally too loose. Also my feet are not wide, a lot of shoes once you get to 14-15 get wide. I know with hiking, walking etc your feet swell so I went with the 15, figured I can do a thicker sock if needed as well. I've only had these shoes for 4 days, used every morning for my dog walk and today a longer 5+ mile hike/walk with my dog. So not a long term test but here goes: The sizing is perfect for me. They fit really like a 14.5, so if you're a 15, they might be tight, but if you're a 14.5 or a 14 and want room for your feet to swell, get the 15! These shoes are wide in the toe box, but that is by design and is nice! They are stiff, kind of normal for a hiking shoe, but very comfortable. The toe area has a good amount of flex right out of the box. The shoes are heavy, part of that I am sure is being a huge size, but even compared to other shoes I have they're quite heavy, but when on you don't feel it much. your feet get a little hot. Unsure if this is the waterproof / resistant or just the design, I've not tried the regular version to compare. Again, not a deal breaker. Lastly I normally get arch or knee pain with shoes. Nike and New Balance notably, but no pain at all. But will say over all great shoe. Probably buying a lot of Merrell's in the future due to the sizing. Merrell, if you need a tester for the size 15s, you let me know! Ha

The most comfortable and durable shoe I've ever owned. I walk a lot and work in them and they stay comfortable all day! Love them!

I have been purchasing Merrell shoe products for about 15 years and once again I am totally satisfied with my purchase. Sometimes when you put on a hiking shoe you know you can't take it on a long hike. Well, I put these on and they were instantly comfortable. The one think I look for is good arch support and these are exceptional. I only did a short 2.5 miles in them first day out but it was enough to let me know I had made the correct choice. Highly recommend these shoes, the Moab 2.

Having ordered many Merrell products I find the quality is very consistent and the value is outstanding.

I am familiar with this shoe and it is what I expected. They are lightweight, good traction. It has very strong water resistance as no shoe is truly waterproof but these do work well in wet conditions and hiking through wetter areas.

Purchased this shoe as I needed a hiking shoe as my hiking boots were a little over-kill. I ordered the wide as I my Merrell hiking boots were normal width and I thought I wanted a little more room for my toes. The shoe is a bit bigger than I though it would be, but I have no slippage and feel the shoe is very comfortable and can be worn for long hours if needed. A good value for the price and I expect I will enjoy many hiking hours.
