I bought these last fall for my trip to Hawaii in the winter. I tried them on briefly and they fit fine so I brought them along. What a shock when I wasn't able to take more than 3 steps in them without sliding out of the shoes. The rubber bands that sling around your feet don't actually keep your foot secure. They fit comfortably, but don't hold your foot in place. Instead they move along with each step (which would be fine, if there was something else that could keep you from falling out of them). In addition there's nothing to the footbed that could hold your feet in place. So a little sweat or sea water and your feet just glide right off of the sandal. Maybe a flipflop thong between your toes or some kind of texture to the footbed would keep that from happening. Since I was on a trip and needed shoes, I tried tissue paper between foot and sandal, but it didn't help much. Instead I looked like I had toilet paper dragging on my shoe. I was desperate so I tried baby powder and hairspray. Those helped a little, but the shoes still kept sliding off. I tried looping the bands around my toes, like a flipflop, but that didn't work either. They look super cute, but are useless as actual shoes for walking anywhere. Basically now I have a pair of non-functioning shoes.

I thought these were really cute, but I quickly realized the first time I wore them that something was really wrong. My foot is forced to the back of the footbed almost to the point where my heal falls out. This leaves a large gap at the front making it difficult to walk without tripping over them. I will unfortunately have to throw them out.

I took my dog for a 3 mile walk through the neighborhood and I couldn't wait to rip these shoes off. Your feet slide back and my toes were coming out from under the front straps. I thought I would give them a second chance because they are water shoes. I went to the river and on my way to the river bank the same thing was happening. They were ok in the water but that doesn't help much if you have a hard time keeping them on on the way to the water.

Had to return them. These shoes are really cute. I don't know how to change them so they would keep your foot in them though.

Very comfortable shoe! Got the size smaller like previous reviewers suggested and size was right. However my foot kept slipping forward making them not wearable. Sadly had to return.

being a woman with a size 12 foot is not easy . I was so excited that these were so stylish and they came in my size . When I receive them I tried them on immediately and was disappointed to find that as I walked they slid further and further back on my foot until my foot was about 50% out of the sandal in the back . To be fair I gave them a second chance and the same thing happened. I sent them back. Bummer.
