So, the boot was beautiful but there's absolutely NO WAY it's a wide width. I got my foot in but it felt like it cut off all circulation. My foot is normal width but I know Columbia tends to run narrow, which is why I was so excited to see them offer a "wide" option. Lol...complete joke. I'll be shipping these back to Zappos and will never order Columbia boots/shoes again. Total waste of time...

Only giving them three stars because I had to return them they were so small. I bought a 10 but it fit like 9. Disappointed because I really loved the color scheme and they look like they're solid boots.

I wear a size 11 and only occasionally need a wide, depending on the style of the shoe. I ordered this in a wide because I figure I'd be wearing slightly thicker socks. I was very disappointed that these felt a bit snug in the width, even with regular thickness socks. I ended up buying a similar looking mens shoe in 10 medium and that was perfect.

Sadly- in the process of returning these. Love the look and overall quality. Needed/bought wide but the toes are still too narrow. So much ouch! Definitely not a Cinderella fit for me.

So I wanted to wait to review these as a big thing for me personally is how hiking boot's hold up on trail and over time. I bought these boots as they had a completely closed off toe and I am rough on the toe's of hiking boots, I usually rip them if they are mesh. The appeal to me was they were closed toed, had ankle support, had decent reviews, and they looked cute. Unfortunately, these boots initially started out pretty comfortable for a quick day hike, however I do not recommend these if you are doing any serious/long distance/rocky hiking. It was noticeable from the start, but now with a little wear down, you are able to feel any rock that you step on through the soles of the shoe. The ankle and little bit of arch support don't really hold up either once you break the shoes in a bit sadly. We recently this weekend did another section of the Devil's Path on the East Coast and my feet were really banged up from this time around. If you are looking long term and to hold up to rough trails, this may not be the best choice in my personal experience.

The sole felt too hard. I’d like more cushioning.

Boots were not sized correctly. I ordered an 8 but I think these were mismarked. They fit like a size or more smaller. Had to send them back AND pay $$ for shipping. I tried the same pair in a different color in a store and the 8 fit perfectly. That is why I think this pair was mismarked.

Love the style and the color. I wore them once and they are really warm, probably a bit too warm for Bay Area weather that my feet started to sweat after a while. I hope the boots are a bit more breathable because of that. Also this might be a coincidence: I slipped and fell when walking on a wet wood staircase while wearing these and now I am not sure how about the grip. After all I only wore them once, will continue to observe their performance.

I just bought these boots and they run quite narrow. I normally wear a size 7 in normal width, and ordered a size 7 in normal width. They are quite tight in my feet! I have never had to purchase a wide shoe in any brand, but I guess I may need to in these? They are the correct length, but are just not comfortable at all with how tight they are around. I like the way they look, but sadly I will have to return them.

After sizing up, these are still tight. Love the look of them, but worried about how my feet will feel on a hike with these. Wearing them around the house makes my feet numb! I recommend sizing up.

Can't tell if this is an issue with sizing but every time I've worn these boots I've gotten blisters. I've had them for a year and a half and wasn't sure if it was an issue of breaking them in but I've logged over 150 miles in them so I'm confident that not the issue. Great in basically every other regard though.

Mostly like them, stylish and waterproof, no traction on ice at all. Trust me, you will slide all the way down.

The fit was fine but these shoes felt thin in the soles. I just couldn't see myself taking these out on the rocky trails around here, so I returned them.

For whatever reason, the right shoe felt too tight (and I thought my left foot was slightly larger). Otherwise, quite comfortable and supportive.

These are beautiful and comfortable boots, to a point. These boots are great for hiking about 5 miles, but not good if you want to hike more than that. After about 5 miles, they started to rub and produce blisters. They do have amazing traction.

I really liked the look of these but I tried them I. a couple of sizes and they rubbed on top of my big toe. I knew they would hurt or give me blisters if I tried to hike in them so I returned them.

Very cute and seemingly well-constructed. Unfortunately, the toe box is too shallow to fit me. My big toe gets a bit pinched when I walk.

Not sure how people say this boot runs true to size. I could barely get my foot into it. That being said it seemed like a nice boot and is certainly cute.

Loved the look, true to size especially if you wear actual hiking socks, but arch support was sadly nonexistent so I returned

I was so excited to get these! But my bubble was burst after wearing them. I think the top eyelets are placed to low and the tongue rolls over the top of the laces. Makes me sad!

In order to try to gain toe box width, I ordered 1/2 size up. It is still not wide enough. Too bad more shoe companies don't realize that even women need a 2 or 4 E width in toes, but not in heel or top.
I'd also recommend:

Other reviewers said these were true to size, but they were not for me. My ahnu hiking boots are 10.5 and I ordered those a half size up. These 10.5 Columbia were very small, and I'd have to size up to at least an 11.
