The reviews were correct that the boot causes a divet and cannot be walked in comfortably. The shoe has a shank in the front, and the top of the shoe is soft. So that causes the top of the shoe to indent. Bad design.

Smells like they were soaked in gas.

Very comfortable straight out of the box. I worn them once around the house for a few hours then for 5 days straight during a trip to Glacier National Park and had zero issues hiking and doing tons of walking. My feet are usually a bit high maintenance but these were great. Definitely recommend!

This is an outstanding light hiking boot, considering the price. If extra support is wanted, you can add an insole to make it more cushioned. Unfortunately, I have to return them because foot surgeries have made my feet unmatched. The left boot was great but the right was a bit too short. No fault of the boots. I recommend them.

No breakin period was necessary; I was able to wear them several hours the first day.

These are beautiful boots! My go to size is 9 wide. Despite being classified as wide, these felt a bit narrow in my regular size. I went up to the 9.5 and the width feels much more like a wide. I may have a little extra length in the toes but I’ll be able to fit a heavy sock comfortably. I have only worn these on my daily walk and not hiking yet. I found them quite comfortable and anticipate the same for hiking.

Usually wear a 6.5 or 7. Originally purchased a 6.5 but they felt too tight. Returned and ended up with 7.5. The top felt tight and I was going to return, but I decided to try removing the insole and replacing with one of my own. That worked, and I love them. No breaking in needed. Feel great and look great. Purchased for hiking but have also worn all day at theme parks.

Love everything about these boots. I bought them ahead of a camping music festival where it was forecasted to rain 2+ inches over the course of a couple days. Well, forecast delivered and so did these boots! I walked miles in them the very first time I wore them. Trekked through mud, huge puddles, soft forest floor, etc. They were SO comfortable and looked so cute with my outfit. I really struggle with well-fitting footwear as I'm a women's size 12, with a pretty narrow foot, but not quite a true narrow size. I had to tighten the laces down quite a bit but they fit perfectly. Highly recommend!

They are rugged but still stylish. The fit is true to size and good arch support. I wore them while I walked 2 hours around the Washington DC Tidal Basin to view the cherry tree blossoms last weekend. even though I was walking on concrete sidewalks, I could have walked 2 more hours in the boots. Comfort and style, and even though it was 32 degrees, my feet did not get cold. This was my first pair of Columbia boots, but not my last!

This shoe fits wonderfully! I ordered a half size bigger, since I'll be wearing heavier socks with the shoes and in wide. The shoe box feels great, with plenty of room for my toes to wiggle. And - a huge shout out to Zappos. I received these so quickly. I can't say enough about their customer service.

I thought I'd give these size 12s another try as I've had several pairs and have loved them. Despite this, I'm actually wearing a 13 now, so this was just an experiment. As a rule I would rate them a 5 star in comfort. Wish there was such a thing as a women's 12.5

The overall fit was good. But the right shoe pressed on mu big to joint when I walked.

Bought these for my daughter. She hasn't gotten to take a hike in them yet, but they fit perfectly and felt comfortable. Not too bulky, either.

These boots are stiff, but much more waterproof than others I’ve had. The laces that came with the boots have already started to tear. I’d say an overall 3.5 out of 5.
