My daughter is currently wearing a size 5 youth in a similar Keen hiking shoe. I ordered this shoe in a size 6. They seem to run small (the shoe is no bigger than her Keen). I will have to return them and order another size up.

Super excited for these shoes. I am in my 30s with small feet. I normally wear kids 3, bought 4 after trying on in a store- they run small. Four them here for $20 less than the big stores. Have had them for a month. Took to Moab, went through rivers, walked in rain, and have hiked over 50 miles in them so far. Sadly they did not live up to their waterproof rating on a 10 mile hike Sunday. Went through mud, slush, packed snow, used micro spikes and my toe area was soaked by the end :/ heals were dry so water got in at toe box area. Columbia confirmed they should have held up- warranty wants me to ship the shoes to see if issue. I bought this style since there is both a waterproof and not waterproof Redmond’s- I expected waterproofing to last longer than 1 month. However, Zappos rocked! Gave me a full refund immediately on first call and I can keep the shoes- even if only for dry hikes! Super happy with Zappos customer care!! Now to deal with Columbia and hopefully find truly waterproof shoes to hike in!

My daughter took these to sleep away camp last summer, where they hiked every day. No complaints. Buying the next size up this year.

My picky daughter loves these. Fit true to size and will be perfect for hiking.

Very good shoes for 12 yo daughter. Sturdy but not heavy/clunky. She had the same style previously and those shoes lasted a very long time.

As others mention, the size is really small. I ordered size 8, which is usually size 14.5 cm for most of brands. But this Columbia tag mentions, US size 8 and 13 cm. About 1.5 cm small... I returned and order size 9 instead, hope size 9 equals around 14.5 cm...
