These have very tough soles so the shoes take a couple weeks to really break in. My son has been wearing them for 7 months and they've held up awesomely well. The black works perfect for his school too - even for church and recess on the same day. Pretty indestructible outside of the toes showing wear. He's growing out of his size so I'm getting another pair.

best shoe ever for an active kid. i have bought this shoe 4 years in a row now. They totally hold up to all types of rough kid play.

My son likes these shoes. Sizing is accurate. My ten year old has been wearing them for the last 4-5 months and they are holding up well.

I forgot to add that my son wears a size 3 and we bought a size 3. The length was a great with a thumb's width to grow and they were comfortable. If the heel had been designed higher up, we would have kept them for sure as Adidas can be counted on for making great shoes that last!

The shoes are great, they are my son’s second pair. They are a little narrower in the toe box than your average shoe but they fit him good! Would definitely purchase again.

Bought size 6, blue with black stripes. Strayed away from NB for the family this year and bought these for my son. His toes were touching the ends of the NB shoes, so I ordered a whole size up. Definitely good quality material unlike most shoes nowadays! I agonized for hours over his shoes because his feet roll inward badly. I THOUGHT these would help with that, but they are not that solid. Of course, I can't put that on the shoe. I may have to get him straight up hiking boots to hold his ankles nice and tight. The arch support is typical for shoes, not bad, not a ton. I'll probably get him some inserts to increase the arch support so his ankles can't roll inward. Definitely a good fit to his feet with a little room to grow. If you typically buy NB, the sizes seem compareable.

Fit was fine. A little stiff as a sneaker, but I was hopeful they would soften up. Sending back because of questionable lace loop design and defect (see photos) after a day of use.
