flattering fit! but going back maybe, it is a thick fabric , not for summer as far as I am concerned. I might keep it for the fall with tights and sweater ! I want to take 1 star away for the fabric,! I really feel they could have accomplished d the same thing with a more summer like fabric or at least warned people about the thick fabric. other than thinking I was buying a summer dress, its a wonderful little dress. could dress up/down,

I found this dress via a Zappos search for Ponte dresses. I chose Ponte because I know it is a very flattering fabric and a little heavier, but is also stretchy and comfortable. This dress was perfect. At 5'9", 150lbs with broad shoulders I ordered both the medium and large in both the blue stripes and black. Both dresses fit, with the large giving extra room in the hips and butt, which I don't need. The Ponte is so stretchy and comfortable, the medium was perfect. It was pretty fitted in the abdomen, of which mine is not quite flat. However, it lays beautiful and the waist seam hid my tummy. I ended up loving the blue stripes (a departure for me as I love the safety of black) because it seemed a bit less fancy and I was looking for a casual dress for a reunion. I was happy that the strategically placed stripes flattered my figure and improved the look of the dress over the solid black. I got many compliments and was comfortable all night. (If I needed another black, Ponte dress, I would have kept that one as well!) This is a great dress! Toad & Co make great dresses!

Super cute. Fits to size. Has a bit of lycra or something that gives support.
