I bought these to replace a pair of the original McKenzie shoes. The style has changed a bit, and I prefer the originals because they had more air flow, but these are a good summer shoe, especially if you want a bit more protection than sandals. I wear size 8, but have to buy a size 8.5 in many Keen styles. I found the size 8.5 were too large and had to return them for a size 8, which fits fine. I wear custom orthotics and the insoles were easily removed to add these.

I’m a big keen fan and these did not disappoint. They fit the same as my other keen sandals. I have a wide flat foot w/bunions.

The shoe did not seem as supportive for my foot as in the past

Got these for work. RN, 12 hour shifts on feet. I put insoles with high arch support and cushion in these for adequate support. Owned two pairs of the old McKenzie style and prefer the old style, but still like these. The old ones breathed better and were easier to put on. The new detached tongue does not seem to serve a purpose other than making it more difficult to put on. Overall a good shoe that I expect will last quite some time as my old ones did.

The shoe runs small. Order a half size up. Glad this shoe is available.

This shoe has the same style and shape sole as my beloved Presidios. But it is not as sturdy. I think it must be meant for wearing during hot weather, and perhaps it is waterproof. At any rate, comfy though it is in the toe, it provides no support under the arch. It is nice enough, and I can see it worn on a hot day with shorts. I think you could wade in a rocky stream. It is stable which I appreciate. Keen makes good stuff, and I did want to like this shoe. But it is not what I need now. Nice looking shoe.

I think these will be good for light hikes.The insole felt very flat and I immediately replaced it. I have marked "support" down for how they felt when I put them on...flat! They need a medium weight sock to pad the high-ish backs. In a lighter sock, the back rubbed on my Achilles tendon. Good tread.. I wonder what happens when and if the elastic lace wears out? As they are, I like the easy way they adjust. Love the color; it's a bit brighter than the photo shows, but beautiful.

The size was good but there was just not enough cushioning in the sole. They won’t be comfortable for walking. The top of the shoe was great especially the full toe box.

Overall, these are comfortable shoes and fit fairly well. However, the heel slipped a bit in these so I had to return them. Colors are nice and the footbed was comfortable. Really wanted to keep these.

I really wanted to like these shoes so that I could use them with my orthotics. But the throat of the shoe had a sewn on binding that was pronounced and tight around my ankle - I could envision immediate blisters. Still looking for either a water sandal with excellent arch support or a water shoe with my orthotics.

theses are cute shoes but don't offer a whole lot of support and are somewhat of a hassel to put on.

AS I have a very narrow heel the wide toe box made my feet look like "duck feet". the bungee cord had to pulled quite tight and resulted in it being very long . unfortunately have to return.

This is a really pretty shoe, looks great & is stylish, but the material around the top is very flimsy and thin. It's not padded at all around the ankle area, (?) I've never seen a tennis / hiking shoe with zero padding around the top. I also did not notice in the description, that it doesn't have 'tie' laces, it's a bungy cord lace style, I have narrow feet, so I had to cinch it up really tight and there was no place to put the 'extra' chord length. Unfortunately, I am returning it.

A very nice looking shoe but it runs wide and doesn't have much arch support. The uppers are thin and not comfortable. I'm returning it ...

nice shoe with good toe box and arch. But no padding around the ankle or in the tongue and no support there. Ouch! Returned.

I have been a big Keen fan for years, but I am not happy with this shoe at all. It feels very loose and the upper is very flimsy and hard, digging into my foot. There is no arch support . I started wearing it because I have trusted Keen, but I regret not sending them back.

Very wide, even with orthopedic arch support and socks.

I was a huge fan of Keen's Cimarron II, I wore them for years until the soles wore out, and had been waiting for a similar style to come out after they discontinued it. I thought the McKenzie II might be it, and it could have been had it not been for the disappointingly subpar quality. I've come to expect the highest quality craftsmanship from Keens, and this shoe is far below their standards. Certain parts of the shoe appear as if they'll snap or tear if I'm not cautious and gentle when putting them on, the soles don't appear as if they'll stand up for more than 6 months, and uncovered seams in the upper part of the shoe grind relentlessly on the top of my foot. I've only had them for 2 weeks and I should have just boxed them up and sent them back but I needed work shoes. I wouldn't buy these shoes at full price, not worth it.
