I bought the Keen Bali Strap in the Radiance/Algiers (turquoise) color. Fantastic color. But the fit was not good. The sandal is stiff, and the straps were rough and also stiff. It felt a half size larger than usual. I don't know what's going on with Keen and their sizing of their footwear. I have worn the Presidio oxford for many years, in my usual size 7.5. But recent purchases of Keen sandals resulted in inconsistent fit - either a half size too small, or in the case of the Keen Bali Strap, a half size too big. If it weren't for the rough, coarse straps that rubbed uncomfortably, I would have considered trying this sandal in a half size down.

Very cute but a full size larger than all my other Size 7 shoes, including my 3 other pairs of keens. I returned for a six, but the order was "processing" for several days. When I called customer service to ask about it, they said it was the last pair in that size, was lost and likely wouldn't be found, so they gave me $25 off on the pair of shoes I had just bought for my husband. More than fair. but I'm disappointed about the lost shoes.

I love Keens and was thrilled to find these water shoes on sale. However I was disappointed from the moment I put them on my feet. There's some sort of spandex at the toe. but it's uneven -- leaving your pinky toe showing and exposed. I'd planned to use these to hike to a swimming hole and the toe exposed was not only unattractive, but unappealing for hiking. The foot, even when pushed to the front of the shoe, leaves about a 1/2 inch of shoe at the heel and the straps are uncomfortable.. I am sad to have to send them back.

I’ve had a pair of Keen rose sandals for years, and they finally wore out, so I decided to try these. I’m normally a 7.5 in Keen’s (7-7.5 in most shoes), but I tried both a 7 and 7.5. The 7 was enormous, and the 7.5 even bigger. While I could adjust the fit down with the Velcro back strap, the foot bed was still far too long.

I wanted to love this airy, covered toe style from Keen but it wasn't for me. Not comfortable and seemed to run a bit small. They were returned.

Usually I am size 6.5 in Keen. In this style, the 6.5 was too large. Tried the size 6 and it was tight across the front strap. The footbeds on these sandals are very hard, no give to them at all, unlike the Rose style, which I ordered in place of these Bali Straps. However, I really like the style of the Bali strap better than the Rose. Combining best features of both would be a winner for Keen.

The upper fabric puckers under the straps, which land in odd positions. All of your toes are covered except the 4th toe... which to my eye, just looked weird. Like the colors, though, and I own other Keens. This one just didn't work. I'll need to return them.

Cheaply made, out of the box the straps were frayed and not stitched properly. The inside front toe piece of fabric was loose and bunched up then I put my foot inside. You have to hold it so it won't do that. My feet were hot within 5 minutes of wearing them around the house. I wanted these for daily walks on dirt roads, they wouldn't have lasted two weeks! Going back!

Ouch and more. I suppose my bunion festooned feet are not going to allow for any type of "normal" foot ware, but these looked comfortable and were said to be even for those like me. I was limping within a couple of hours of shopping.

Ouch, but then, I have really tricky feet, with large ugly bunions on both. I thought these might hide the problems and allow reasonably comfortable walking. I was limping by the end of a not challenging day, wearing toe socks (sop). Sad, really.

These were lovely and fit well, however, I found the soles to be too slippery.

These water shoes are just not comfortable. The bed is hard and the whole shoe is very stiff. I just could not see myself walking around the Amazon in these for even 1 second.

I tried these shoes for beach-combing on rocky beaches and walking on slippery rocks in the water. As others have noted, my little toe gets caught on the toe strap webbing. I liked the EASY heel adjustments--lots of velcro--I could really strap it way down to fit my heel. Some shoes only allow about 1/2 inch of adjustment, which is not enough for me. Of the 3 sandals I tried (the JBU Jetty Encore and the Ahnu Tilden V), this was the lightest sandal in weight. It also had the lightest color footbed, which would make it the coolest shoe, temp-wise. The toe-cap was the flimsiest, as was the shoe itself, so because I needed a shoe for slippery rock walking, I felt it wouldn't protect my feet under those conditions, and my foot would slide right out of the side of the shoe. A minus was the absence of Microban--in summer, my feet sweat, and I don't want to deal with stinky shoes. If you won't be using the shoe under such conditions, I think it would be a comfortable sandal for beach use.

I have never had a problem with Keen sandals in my life but these sandals were terrible! Wore them on my first day of vacation and ended up with six blisters! I’ll definitely be returning these torture devices!

I started wearing these sandals on a trip to Costa Rica and immediately fell in love with them. They're very comfortable and were great for lots of outdoor activities. However, the rating went down to one star. After only 2 MONTHS of wear, I accidentally stepped on a very small shard of glass last weekend. The sole is so soft that the shard became embedded in the sole of the shoe and pushed up through and into the bottom of my foot. Now I realize that stepping on glass is a hazard and clearly didn't do it on purpose , but a shoe that is only 2 months old should be durable enough to handle a very, very small shard of glass (isn't that the whole reason we wear shoes?). I wish I could love these shoes, but I just don't think they are the quality that I usually have had with Keen. I found another similarly styled pair of Tevas that I'm going to try. Hoping they'll last longer than 2 months. These were a major waste of money.

These were uncomfortable as soon as I put them on. The instep and heel straps are very stiff and scratchy. The straps in the toe are poorly positioned for me at least, and it felt like they would catch the tips of my little toes. I returned them right away.

These shoes are cute and comfortable. No doubt. But the quality is AWFUL. When I read the review where she wore a hole through the shoe, I wondered how that could've happened... I can see now. The sole is literally made out of this cheap, albeit lightweight, foam like material, so a vast difference from KEEN's usual sturdy soles. I wore them literally a couple times to walk my kids to and from school (just up the street) and around the house, inside. No hiking or any hard wearing whatsoever, and the bottom tread and materials are already wearing down!! I couldn't believe it. Zappos was, of course, wonderful with their customer service in allowing me to return them. But goodness, this is Wal-Mart quality. :( Definitely not worth the price KEEN is asking for them, even on sale.

There's just something funky about the shape of these shoes, as if they're made for those cartoon feet that are really curved on the outsides instead of the more straight, normal feet. Because of these your pinky and side toes poke right out the holes, as your feet want to go straight yet the shoes curve inward, so out poke the toes. This also makes the feet ride the outer sides of the shoes, while the inner ends of the toe box are more empty (again, because of the odd curve). I've not encountered this in keens before. Some of the H2's look a teeny-bit curved inward like this, but it's less and doesn't seem to impact the wearing of them. It's just too bad as I think these could be really cute shoes. However, I think if you don't have thinner, bony feet (meaning you have a more full-bodied foot) you might not have this same effect, as the fullness of your foot would help keep everything pointed in the right direction and fill out the shoe better. So, thin bony feet look elsewhere, full-bodied feet maybe give it a go if you really like the style/look.

I have trouble finding shoes that fit because I have a very high instep and a wide foot. The adjustable straps over the foot and behind the heel are fantastic for getting a customized fit. I also like the outdoorsy look of Keens. That said, these sandals hurt my feet in a way I have never had shoes hurt my feet before. I didn't discover this until wearing them to take a walk, so it would seem I can no longer return them. Somehow the straps pinch a narrow strip of the skin across the top of my foot leaving a line of tiny tiny blood blisters. It's painful. I can only get away with wearing them if I'm barely going to be walking at all.

I love this sandals so much! but after wearing them for only a month the sole has completely worn out. The soles are made with two different materials, the one in the middle (light grey)has gotten so thing that I can feel the ground. There are super comfortable and adorable, but if you like to walk like me my advice is to get a different style with stronger soles.

I wish there was just one positive comment I could make about this shoe but I cannot. I ordered it based on a positive review but the shoe is very ill-fitting ~ very wide, runs at least 1/2 size larger and even though there are velcro straps to tighten at the heels, I walked out of them with the first step! These are not for anyone with a narrow heel and low profile foot.

first off, i love keen shoes. always have. this is the first time i have had a product deeply disappoint me. i purchased the shoes for backpacking/paddling... to tie to the back of my pack and wear around camp. they are light, closed toe and are comfortable. they have fit the bill entirely for several months. but after 3-4 months of moderate wear, the sole has worn completely thin. i can now feel pebbles on the soles of my feet when i wear them. they have worn right down. maybe it was the summer heat but it certainly wasnt because i over-used them or walked on them for miles and miles on rough terrain. it was moderate use. i have never been disappointed in a keen shoe before this one. if you intend to wear these for more rugged outdoor wear, i would not recommend them. they are probably fine for just easy wear around town.

These shoes are cute, but the straps at the front of the shoe are too far foward, even though the photo makes it appear there is support mid-foot. So, there is really nothing to hold the front/mid part of the foot in the shoe. I'm surprised at this design. The shoes run large, but I will return and not reorder smaller because of the front strap design.
