I let my 8 year old daughter go through the crocs available on zappos and choose the ones she wanted. I was surprised she chose these but they arrived earlier this week and she is really happy with them. It took 2 wearings to "break them in" (small blisters on the back of her heel) but that happens with every pair of new shoes she gets. 4 days later, she is wearing them in total comfort. They are really quite cute in person, I think. She is just out of a 3 in "big kids" shoes and I bought these in a 5. They fit perfect (no real room to "grow into") but I'd rather she get 4 good months out of them then flop around in too big shoes. My older daughter now wants a pair too.
