I have a fused ankle/big toe and have been wearing expensive "rocker" shoes with custom orthotics. I walk 5-10 miles a day and feet have never felt this good.

I wanted this particular COLOR Men's Bondi 5 because I thought they looked so sharp and different. A local dealer promised to order them for me in my size and in the color I wanted. They tried twice and both times when I went to get them and try them on and I was excited to see this color, I was disappointed because they kept ordering the black ones. So, I decided if I cannot shop locally after 2 failed attempts, it was time to get online and try it myself. They are PERFECTION!!! I use them all the time and I love them!!! I also have a second pair in another design, not the Bondi 5, and they are also my favorite HOKAs to wear daily!!! I am definitely a HOKA buyer for LIFE!!! My feet and legs never felt so GREAT!!!

At 70, I find 60-75 minutes of walking six days a week at my prep school field house in comfort and all weather. I needed shoes that would be comfortable and fit well. These fill the bill very well.

Have been using running shoes for 40+ years and without an exception my new Hoka One Bondi 5 shoes are the best - most comfortable athletic shoes I've ever worn. I will be a Hoka customer for life! PS - The service I received from Zappos has been wonderful and I plan to use them more in the future -THANKS YOU !

I use to work out intensely but marriage has changed all that. Now I just need relief of pressure on joints, my weight, comfort and stability for my natural stride. Not pronounced under or over. These guys are recommended because they provided some stability also with their outer webbing. I'm on my feet all day long as a service manager at 55 and over weight, but these guys do help the most so far out of all I have tried. Between insoles, others brands. Nothings is this well defined for my description. Nice feeling walking on uneven terrain is well balanced because design and width of sole.

I've run 65,000 miles in my 35 years of running. I wanted a lot of cushion with plantar fasciitis in my heel. I found these to be the answer. The true testament is my heel hurts only a little while running and not at all afterwards. Although they are rather heavy at 10 oz., I am switching over to this brand of shoe for now on. I log shoe miles and replace after 400 miles, when most shoes start to lose their effectiveness. So, we'll see if they are good at 400.

I purchased these Hokas to help with my plantar fasciitis. There are days when I am on my feet all day and these shoes have really helped from a pain perspective. I hope to start running again soon in these!

Fantastic shoe. Best Bondi ever. The sole wears a little quickly, have gone through 3 pairs this last year, but will keep buying as long as they keep the most recent updates.

I work 12 hours on my feet in a busy emergency room. My feet, legs, and back don't hurt near as bad as with other shoes I've had. You should develop a all black pair with better durability for paramedics, firefighters, and police.

I love these shoes. I walk about 30 miles a week. Almost immediately after switching to these shoes, my feet and knees stopped hurting. I only wish there was an ATR version so that I can use them on my walking trail.

Recently I broke my heel. My Therapist recommended me the shoes because its the softest cushion in the market. He was absolutely right. Very comfortable.

I just took these for a 3 1/2 mile run, and it felt like I was gliding the entire time. Absorbed shock better than any other shoe I had ever worn for running. By the way I'm 6'2, and I weigh 290. I am an avid weight-lifter. I lay some serious pain on running shoes and these Bondi 5s took all the punishment. I don't know what all the complaining is about. These shoes are great. Maybe they were meant for big dudes and not little nancy boys.

I have been running in Hoka shoes for several years. They are a great help if you have bunion issues. The availability of wide sizes is also a plus. Depending on the actual width of the shoe, I float between size 11 and 10 1/2. These were just right at 10 1/2. The style is also great. The black version is the best looking Hoka shoe. Good enough for work-casual without looking like you are headed to the gym. My only complaint about Hoka is when they change models as often as they do. Since running shoes need to be changed out after a limited number of miles, I now buy a backup pair when I find one that I like.

The Bondi 5 is superior for walking on concrete, and is surprisingly good for trail hiking, as well! After seeing reviews commenting on a narrow fit, I am happy to find that they are appropriately wide - I certainly would not want them to be wider. These were a gift, but now that I have them, I know that I will consider another pair in the future.

I have been running in the Hoka Bondi series for years (since the Bondi B version) and this is by far is the best update yet. Improvements: 1) More comfortable toe box/extra width in the forefoot. 2) MUCH improved uppers (the mesh in the Bondi 4's broke down after about 3 months or less). The uppers are more supple and breathable. 3) Added rubber on sole to improve wear without compromising the cushion. 4) MUCH improved looks and color choices. The only issue I've had with the new Bondi 5's are the shoe laces are "slick" and while they don't come untied when I run they are harder to "hold" when tying the shoe. Hoka's have enabled me to extend my running life and have made running a joy again. I am in my early 50's weigh 200 pounds, 6' 1" and run 3x a week mostly on the road. Nice job on the update Hoka.

I've been using Hoka's for running for years. I started because I have 2 labral hip repairs, and a bulging disc in my back. These really help with my joint and back problems. If you have extra wide feet or need more arch support, go for the men's version. I have some running friends who only buy men's because of the extra width. I've bought many Bondi versions, because I really like how comfortable they are-And how long they last! Hoka stands by their brand, and they've replaced a pair for me with no problems when it fell apart (that's only happened once out of 20 something pairs). I LOVE these shoes. I'm a paramedic and wish they made a boot! A bunch of my nursing friends wear them to work because of how comfortable they are. They were made for people who ran ultra marathons (50 miles+), and made to LAST. I'll be a lifetime customer:) *TIP: if it is your first time buying and wearing this style of shoe, expect to feel new muscles engaging for the first week or two. Don't worry-You won't regret it!
