These hurt my feet. Around the ankle they were too high on my foot and rubbed the bones.

The Clifton 3 were very comfortable. I thought I would get more comfort with the Bondi, and I didn't. I returned them. As soon as I put them on my knees started hurting.

I work 12-13 hour shifts, on my feet most of the time walking and standing. I was hoping these shoes the Bondi 5, would be comfortable and cushiony, but I was very disappointed that they weren't, they felt stiff and no cushiony feeling what so ever, very uncomfortable...disappointed i had to return, cause I did like the way they looked!

The Bondi 4 was the most comfortable athletic shoe I have ever worn. I bought it in every color. When the Bondi 5 came out I was happy to see some new choices, but was not happy for long. Initially, the wider toe box of the Bondi 5 felt good, but after wearing the shoes for a couple of weeks, I found that my feet ached all the time. By the time I realized that it was truly the new Bondi 5's that caused the pain, it took more than a month for my feet to heal. Both of my sisters and my podiatrist has a similar experience. If Hoka was going to make so many changes, they should have changed the name, not the number (4 to 5) - it was very misleading and now I'm stuck with two pairs I can't wear and need replacements for my well worn Bondi 4's.

I am a half-marathon runner and training for one right now. I have used Hokas before and really liked them. I received this pair as a gift and I am not impressed. The bottom of the shoe does not form to my foot and there is no arch support. When I run long runs, the bottom of my feet are in a lot of pain by the end. If you are a long runner, I would not recommend this pair.

The prettiest pair of shoes I've ever worn, but they created pressure points on three different areas of my feet. I work 12-16 hour shifts at a hospital and was looking for the plushiest, most cushioned shoes I could find because I have foot pain. These were horrible and exaggerated my pain. The Clifton 3's have helped some but the 4's we're terrible as well.

These shoes are very clunky and stiff! Was looking for a shoe like the Bondi 4 and thought these would be an improved version, but are not....very uncomfortable!

This was my first purchase of HOKA shoes and I love them! I have bad hips and was looking for a shoe that would cushion my steps....and these fit the bill! They are very lightweight and cushiony. I have worn them to work every day since I received them. Yesterday, I received my 2nd pair (in a different color and style) and I am now eyeballing another pair or two!

Love the run shoes but they are too short. Please offer women's size 12!! Men's never work as most are too wide for women.

These Biondi shoes are hot and uncomfortable. The toe box is too narrow. I loved the old Hoka styles but the new Hokas are not so great. The cushioning is still good but I have to move on to another brand. I do not have wide feet but these squish my toe next to my big toe and they do not breath. They are sized appropriately for the length of my foot.

I bought Hoka Bondi 4's a year or so ago and fell in love. They were an absolute dream. I could run in them and not have any knee or hip pain afterwards. I bought the Hoka Bondi 5 (recommended as the new model) a couple of months ago and have hated them since my first run. Any time I use them to run I have so much pain in my lower extremity joints that I need to stop running for a weak to recover. I'm not a "serious" runner, only do short distances but my first pair worked miracles, this second pair is useless. I recommended Hoka to a friend based on my first pair and she has had nothing but hip pain using her Hoka Bondi 5's for running.

I've been a Bondi owner and lover for a few years and love the Bondi 4. I was so disappointed when I received 2 pairs of the Bondi 5 that I purchased. My feet relish the support offered by the 4, however, the 5's are terrible in that regard in my opinion. I loved the firmness of the toe area on the 4's whereas the 5's are mushy and soft and do not suit my needs. The overall support of the 5's pale in comparison to the 4's for me. The only positive I can take away is that I like the change in the eyelets, but that's it. I had to return the two pairs of 5's I bought and, unfortunately, to add insult to injury, had to pay a 20% restocking fee

It is really awful. The worst shoes ever. I usally use asics nimbus. Now decided to try smth new. I have been using Hoka for a week, running 6-10 miles per day. Firstly, my feet were burning after every run, which had never happened while using asics. Secondly, Now I have pressing problems with my second toe - my toe nail is broken inside the toe. The root is actually torn off the toe, causing inflammation. It is extremely painful. I had never thought that shoes can induce so much trouble and pain.=( very disappointed... Ps sorry for the image attached

I was really excited to receive these shoes as a gift. However, after wearing them for short periods, the breast of my foot would become sore and my toes became numb. This has happened every time I try and wear them. I had hoped it was just them needing to be broken in, but after several attempts, they are just too uncomfortable to wear.

I love all my Hokas and the Bondi has always been my favorite. Unfortunately, the Bondi 5 has a hard plastic top where the shoelace is tied. This digs into the top of my feet and is very uncomfortable. I hope Hoka will redesign the Bondi to fix this problem.

Hoka doesn't have much variety in Wide shoes. The Bondi 4 was a lifesaver for me, and I wore it daily. I recommended it to everyone and quite a few people bought it at my suggestion. This new model is so uncomfortable, and I've tried several sizes. Please bring back the original style of the Bondi 4.

This is the worst overhyped shoe I have ever bought. The shoe has virtually no arch support and even when I put in an insole, my feet are burning after a few hours of wearing these shoes. My feet are feeling like they are on fire. I cannot wear them and have wasted a good penny buying this piece of junk. Could not work in them for 8 full hours and could not walk 3 miles around the lake. What is going on here? From now on I will prefer to buy from REI due to wasting all of my money on shoes that are not what they seem to be. They are not super soft and shock absorbent just in case.
