I have arthritic feet and a high arch. I need shoes that don't flex. These make me feel very stable

I wear this for work. It would not work for my daily trail running because I like my feet closer to the ground. I would run on pavement with it, but rarely do as I prefer the woods. It is a great work shoe. My body and feet feel great after a long day. I wish it was cuter- check out dansko marin oxfords- they do not make them anymore. maybe you could make a working girl's outrageously comfortable and fashionable work shoe.

Will probably give them to my mom after a day of usage to see if I just needed to "break them in" to see if they would stretch, however I believe that it would be best to just order a wide width to get the best comfort for this brand.

I use these everyday as directed by my doctor. I have foot pain & neuromas on my toes, these shoes help a lot. I wish they were wider, I have a small foot but a wide foot, I little wider would help, wide doesn't come in my size, I wish it did.

I love these shoes. I just wish they'd make a grey color. Or another color that's color to daily wear colors...

Love the shoe's fit and support! I run 4 miles, 5 days a week and the pink color was already pealing off the sole and lower half of the shoe by the second week, which was kind of a bummer. Also, the shoe laces feel flimsy and stretch. Otherwise, it's a great shoe. Thanks

These shoes are cushy but very narrow across the toe area. I have bunions so they did not work for me.

I really wanted to love these shoes but unfortunately, the inside of the heels gave me hot spots. I was so bummed! I am going back to my Brooks Glycerin's which are a lot like these - minus the crazy foam support on the ball of the foot.
I'd also recommend:

I never even heard of Hoka before getting these shoes. I've been wearing these for the last year now and the difference i feel is seriously amazing. I work 10 hr days at a veterinary Hospital, so im on the go all day and its hard on my body. I also have chronic knee pain. My feet and my knees hurt way less than they normally would. Ive had to work the last 2 days I've had to work without them, and my knees have been killing me! Getting another pair now!!

My physical therapist recommended this shoe to help with arthroscopic knee recovery. I have found the shoes to be amazing for this purpose. I also enjoy walking in them as they give me energy to propel forward.

The Bondi 5 has great cushioning. The fit is true to size, a bit roomy in the toe box but it is not a bad thing considering that summer is coming. They are comfortable and embrace your foot while moving. You need to use them a bit so they can really feel comfy. Definitely a very good running shoe. Please ship to Canada directly!

Bondi 5 has a much wider front base. I purchased the wide width and use custom orthotics. My biggest praise is that cannot roll you foot over...a big plus if you have stability issues. You step much flatter. Given that I have had 5 pairs of Bondi 4's I was expecting the same rocking that I love. While I find the Bondi 4s were more comfortable walking due to the better rocking back to front, the Bondi 5 is more stable on uneven ground. I found my back and knee seemed to like the Bondi 4 due to that rock. I am torn because the stability of the Bondi 5 is much more important. I also liked the leather version of the Bondi 4 not available on the Bondi 5. The breathable upper makes your feet get cold in cold weather. For people with foot, knee or ortho issues, Bondi 4or 5 is the only shoe to wear. I sure wish there were a more attractive version that one could wear that would be remotely wearable for dinner, dates, or other than a workout event. Even a Mary Jane version would be amazing. I recommended this brand to friends and family because of the greatness of this shoe. However, the authorized dealers in Los Angeles do NOT carry a variety of Hokeone models to compare fit and feel. Thus, they will buy a different shoe brand because of the poor selection of the brick and mortar stores. This really needs to be changed. I don't know anyone who will spend $150 on a shoe online without trying them on. Also, my local store that carries Hokeone, did not know they came in wide width.

These shoes get complements all the time. I have the blue/blue Biondi. I love the cushioning. I work long hours on my feet and have for over 30 years so I am very particular about my shoes. I also run. Hoka has great customer service as well. I am happy with these shoes but they do not breath as well as my old Cliftons did. My feet get hot in the Biondi. Otherwise they are great. I do not think they are too wide and I have narrow-ish feet. The bottom of the shoes is quite wide but the upper is normal-width. They are sturdy and supportive and cushioned.

I am wearing this shoe while recovering from Morton's Neuroma surgery (after getting the go-ahead to transition to a "normal" shoe). The benefits of this shoe: It provides a lot of cushion, it's a neutral shoe so has basic arch support but not overly so, and it comes in wide which makes it easier to wear if you are experiencing some swelling in foot after surgery. It is on my podiatrist's recommended shoe list for runners and walkers who don't need correction for overpronating, i.e. for the neutral runner. I tried this shoe before surgery when I was exploring more conservative treatment options, and it "almost" worked. I assume it will be great to wear after my recovery is complete. When you need comfort, style is always secondary.

I am a big fan of Hoka One One. These are my fourth pair. I wanted less sneaker-like styling, but made the mistake of ordering them in wide (the only option available in my size). They look like boats! I will wear them for walking because they are so darn comfortable, but they didn't fulfill my wish for a less sneaker-like look.

I was excited to learn it had a wider toe box because most workout shoes are too narrow and squish my toes. They are very comfortable but the shoes feel larger than the size that's marked and they appear huge when you have them on. I'm not unhappy with them but I might go with a 1/2 size smaller next time.

I love the dark blue! Goes with just about everything. I don't run in these, but I work in a hospital and am on my feet all day. Hoka lost me after they stopped making the old Stinson Trail... I've been working in the Altra Olympus ever since. Both these shoes and the Altras still don't quite measure up to the comfort level of my old Hokas, BUT I am keeping these, which is a first since the Stinsons were discontinued! They aren't as cushy as the Stinsons (pleeeeaaaase Hokas, make some like that again!), but they support my feet enough to keep them from feeling like they're going to fall apart by the end of the work day. I got them in wide, which ended up being too wide despite the fact that other Hoka models are too narrow for me. If I were running in them, the wiggle room in the forefoot would be enough to make me return them. They are fine for walking around in all day, though, and the lace holes are located far enough back to butterfly-lace my narrow heel in effectively.
I'd also recommend:

I loved the Bondi 4. The toe of this new 5 is very tight. I don't know why you pointed the toe so much. It is probably the most comfortable shoe out there but I may have to go to a bigger size which I hate to do considering how big looking the shoes are. All you had to do was just widen the forefoot of the 4 - it would be perfect!

After two surgeries on left foot have full big toe fusion . My knees began to hurt . I believe in time after break in these shoes will help . Only problem I have feet that are one a 7 and the other 7.5 . No fix for that.

It's a miracle! Wide (D) width in a Hoka! I love the feel of Hoka shoes. I've had Cliftons in the past, which were just not wide width. Though, I managed to PR in 3 races with them one season! However, they squeezed my wide feet horribly, causing my toes to go numb, rubbing awful spots. I typically wear a size 8.5 EE in shoes. Hoka does not offer (though, they should) a EE width. I opted to suffer with the width, for the plush. I was overjoyed when I saw a wide width (D) is now available. Though, disappointed with the limited color and only one shoe type offering, decided to give it a try. I've had them less than a month now. My speed difference in them is notable from my New Balance I typically wear for its size and width offerings. I drop about 1/2 minute per mile with these Bondis. Still not quite wide enough. I would love to see a EE width. And I'd love it in something other than basic blue.......a beautiful pink would be amazing! Thanks Hoka:)

I just got a pair of black Bondi 5s after having worn thru my previous Bondis. Immediately I could tell they are a bit wider. They fit, but only with the laces tied fairly tight. I held them up to the old ones and they seem to be the same length, but they feel roomier all around. My feet have been hurting quite a bit, and when I put them on I felt like I was walking on clouds. I have hallux rigidus, and they are the perfect shoe that puts zero pressure on the big toe. I have hardly taken them off for three days now. I haven't tried running yet, but I walked a few miles yesterday and couldn't have been happier. All that said, they are UGLY! I got the black, and they just look huge and thick. Oh well, that's the price for comfort.

Run about 40+ miles per week. I have terrible Plantar Fascitis, so I thought I'd give these a go as they were recommended for those with PF. The tongue (particularly on my left) dug into my tibialis anterior tendon so much - it was so painful I would sometimes feel sick as I was running. So, for awhile I re-laced my shoes and tied them loosely to avoid pain on the top of my food, but after awhile, it just got worse. And the whole top of my foot hurt! I had to stop wearing them and go back to my old Arahis which still had a few miles in them. I actually considered totally cutting off the tongues of the Bondis - they are JUST SO STIFF!!! It's like they have a layer of stiff plastic on the top of tongue and it's longer than most tongues on my shoes. ??? So, I'm going back to the Cliftons with my next purchase - those have been my tried-and-true jam and maybe I will try the Bondis out again in the next iteration. My feedback: these shoes are excellent except for the tongue. Put a Clifton or Arahi tongue on these bad boys and I think they could really be gooooooood.
