I had ankle injury over a year ago. I've been having problems walking due to the pain. I have bought many different shoes and inserts but never found really comfortable ones. My PT suggested me to try Hoka, I had to wait for a few months for the WIde width of Bondi to be on the market. Finally I bought the Bondi 5 in Wide. They are so comfortable and cushioned. Now I can walk normally without limping. Thank you Hoka.
Please keep the good quality and keep making Wide width shoes with more colors.

I used to run in Brooks but they switched the model of my favorite show. And then after dealing with plantar fasciitis a friend recommended Hoka running shoes. I bought the same size I normally do and other running shoes and found the shoes to really cushion. Since I've worn them I have not had a flare-up and am able to complete my runs. This is my second pair of Bondis, and if all goes well I'll be a loyal consumer. As far as Zappos service is concerned, I am a forever fan. I had forgot to change my address when I moved and they contacted the shipping company and had it delivered the next day. No matter the Shue I'm a Zappos girl.

Walking Shoe. Running around shoe. I tried the fist rendition of Women's wide in the blue color. It did not fit at all. It was as big as a boat. I tried again in the black when it came out just in the last few weeks. Feels like an entirely different shoe. Feels good. I have had a failed joint implant
now for years and have been unable to walk. Hopefully these will allow me to be acitve again.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable! With the wide heel base, I don't worry about twisting an ankle! Great for my early morning walks.

This shoe is spectacular. Ordered in 7.5 wide. Comfortable right out of the box. No break-in required. Purchased to start some light training walk/jog after knee surgery. Don't need my orthotics because this shoe provides customization in support due to the memory foam. Can't wait to start using them. Unlike most other athletic shoes these seem to run true to size. I've always had to order a half size up in sport shoes, ordering a 7.5 instead of a 7, but I may have to try a 7 in these. The wide width is a true wide width. FINALLY, someone besides New Balance is making true wides. New Balance wides are too wide in the heels and Asics (my most recent brand) wide women's shoes aren't really that wide. Hoka One One-my new favorite and I'll be telling everyone!

I have struggled with plantar faciitis for years. After trying every name brand running shoe on the market, I can say the Bondi 5 is the BEST shoe to keep you comfortable all day every day!

Perfect running shoe!
I have been waiting for Hoka One One to make the amazing Bondi model with a wider toe box and they delivered!
I am a marathon runner who has run the Boston marathon in the Bondi 3 and Bondi 4 models. I found the Bondi 4 regular width to be too narrow. I found the Bondi 4 wide to be too wide. I do not have a wide foot but I do have a history of Morton's neuromas from years of running with traditional running shoes known for their narrow toe boxes. Ihave had 2 Morton's neuromas removed from my right foot over the past year and I love Altras due to their traditionally wide toe box. However, I do not care for the zero drop of Altras. I simply adore Hoka shoes due to the comfortable, supportive platform. I kept hoping that Altra and Hoka would get together somehow and create an amazing running shoe with high support, plush rocker bottom and wide toe box. The Bondi 5 in regular width is that dream shoe for me.
They arrived in the hot pink color just last night and I took them for a quick run. Felt no pressure around my metatarsals, plenty of room in my toe box without feeling too big. This newer Bondi 5 model runs true to size. I wear 7.5M in regular street shoes and ordered 7.5M in the Bondi 5. A perfect fit!
I have ordered a second pair in all black which arrived yesterday! Waiting for more colors!
Thank you Hoka One One!
Fantastic shoe! Training for my 15th marathon (my 9th Boston) now!

I have been waiting all week for these amazing shoes and I am so excited that they finally arrived! I have owned the Bondi 3, Bondi 4 and now Bondi 5. This is the best version of this shoe I have experienced. Hoka has finally delivered on the wider toe box. I can wiggle my toes just like I do in my Altras. But this Bondi is superior due to the rockerbottom and plush feel. I am a marathon runner who has had 2 morton's neuromas removed from my right foot after years of running in regular width/narrow toe box asics, new balance and nikes. I do not have a wide foot. The Bondi 4 wide was beautiful but too wide for me. This regular width Bondi 5 is simply perfect. I wear 7.5M in my regular street shoes. I wear 7.5M in the Bondi 5 with plenty of room in front of my big toe without it being too big. Felt no pressure and no splipoing anywhere!
I LOVE THESE SHOES!
So glad I already purchased both women's colors available right now (pink and black). Waiting for more!
THANK YOU HOKA ONE ONE!

if you are accustomed to the Bondi way of life you will LOVE this shoe. If you are new to Hoka, give it a try. I started with the Bondi 4 but found it a bit narrow. Knee pain is GONE, foot pain is GONE. knee swellin gis GONE. Win win all the way around. I jog 15-20 miles per week, am very active in the gym and have struggled with chondromalacia and meniscus pbls for a few years now.

The thick sole offers excellent support from heel to ball of foot. A little hard getting used to bulk of shoe. Lacks arch support. Shoe was very comfortable but returned due to blisters on both large toes even with wide width. Am going to try another Hoka shoe

So far so good but I haven’t ran in them yet. I do find that they run a half size larger I have orthotics and had to get an 8 1/2 shoe. I returned the 8 1/2 for an eight and my orthotics fit fine.

I had a pair of Bondi 4 for several years and loved them! So sad i couldn't find them again to buy but decided to try the Bondi 5. I had to return the size 8 because they were uncomfortably tight and Zappos customer service on the phone was FANTASTIC. So polite and helpful. Got the 8.5 instead and they fit great! I always replace the insoles with my orthodics due to having Plantar Fasciitis. These are the most cushiony walking shoes I have been able to find and they are supportive. Yes, they are big and a bit heavy, but that is a trade off for the incredible cushioning. I just with they came in more modest colors and that the bottoms part was not white which gets dirty so easily. The Bondi 4 blue was a great look but the 5 does not have anything similar.

Wanted to love these shoes, but the seam inside where the arch support curves up the side rubbed my insole and caused discomfort. Unfortunately, these will have to be returned.

I like these sneaker a lot. 1 star deleted for a slightly narrow toe box and issues with past shoes....the sole was defective. But love the support they give and the extra cushion to hopefully help my joints. I hate the pink details, but color options were limited at the time of purchase and I needed to get a replacement pair as soon as possible to prevent a tripping hazard from defective sole. I would buy these again for arch support and high level of cushion.

Liked the shoes a lot but I have problem feet and the toe bed was too narrow for me. I called Hoka and they suggested getting the wide version but Zappo doesn't have them in stock because Hoka is coming out with a Bondi 6, which I preordered through Hoka in the wide. A podiatrist recommended the Hoka shoes because they are rocker shoes. I have another pair of older Bondi's and they are very comfortable for walking.

I really wanted to like these shoes but ... they were just a little too "clunky" for me. They felt heavy and I decided to send them back and stick with my cushiony Brooks shoes. I DO own a pair of Hoka One One hiking shoes which I LOVE, by the way- these were just a little too much for my light jogs.

The support of this shoe felt good when I first tried it on, but upon walking my usual 3 miles, the sole proved just too thick for me. So, I am returning them.

Many of the reviews claimed said that the toe box was deep, but I did not find that as so. I have a slight hammer toe so this shoe will not work for me too bad. Maybe the wider width will work

This is my second pair of the Hoka brand. The shoes do have a stiff platform which may or may not appeal to some. I use them for walking/jogging and like the support they provide.

This shoe got rid of 95% of my foot pain. I have bought 4 pair now, and 3 pair for my husband. The only trouble is that the last pair, black, came apart in the tongue. The rubber section came unglued from the tongue. When I tried to get a replacement, all the size 11s were sold out. I wrote to Hoka and they said to mail the shoe to them for replacement, but not sure they have any more of the black ones, either. It's not clear what happened to the dark blue ones, either. Those were my favorites but they seem to not be making them anymore. They were the most low-key in color, except for the black. And these are so comfortable, you'll want to wear them all the time, so you need some that are more subdued in color also.

I have VERY flat feet, severe bunions, and a (hibernating for now) morton's neuroma on my left foot. I purchased these because a friend recommended them. He said Hokas are like "walking on a cloud." I agree, they are awesome, but... I need more arch support. That said, I wore my shoes for 4 days at Disneyland with one prior day of break-in. It was the first time I did not need to swap for my cushy flip flops on day 2/3/4. I had zero pain during my trip. I love mine so much I purchased a pair for my 12yo daughter. I will definitely purchase another pair. I will probably add an orthotic for arch support, over-pronation correction, but other than that, I am very satisfied!!!

I originally complained about the shoe but the longer I keep it on the better it is starting to feel. I do think it needs a deeper foot bed but I'm getting used to it. I have the insole in on my right foot and out of the left. Tomorrow I will try adding the left insole back in. They really are becoming as comfortable to me as being barefoot. I have put on a thicker sock then I ever wore with shoes so that might be helping to break it in. The length still seems a tad too long but that is fine. I have changed my mind and decided that Yes, I will recommend to a friend.
