These boots are super cute! The ankle is comfortably snug compared to other rain boots I have worn. I agree to order a half size down from your normal size. I rarely go down in size but I’m glad I did on these. I ended up returning. I ordered them for a rainy week in Italy. I have low back pain and walking around in Italy, while highly fashionable, the 3” wedge would be too much for my back in these boots. If you can handle the height of the wedge, go for these boots!

Cute, but am returning. The inside of the shoe is too uncomfortable because of the lining fabric. Scratchy. Since these aren't planning to be winter shoes for me, that's a problem. Regretfully returning since i LOVE the fact that it's a stylish rain shoe.

I love the look of the rainboot. The teal heal against the black gives a nice edginess to the boots. However, these boots run large. I wear a 5.5 in the regular joan of arctic boot and I ordered a size 5 in these boots - still the boots were loose. The height this boot provides is great for a petite person.

Very cool, but not for me. They are too clunky for my body and personality. They are just not for me. If you like edgy rebel cool, if you ever rocked Doc Martens, these are awesome. Size half size down. They are amazingly comfortable on the inside.

These were a little wider at the opening and a little too clunky for my liking. The original ones are better. Just thought the water proofing was appealing and the shiny black look.

The picture shows a shiny look to them... mine are as rubbery as could be. And will be returned. Im bummed the picture isn’t accurate. The rubber rain books I received, could never be used to dress up an outfit ever.

Nice wedge high heel but very comfortable for a high heel. I found that these boots are a little stiffer than the Gloss version. These boots rubbed on the inside of my ankle and the Gloss ones didn't. I went with the Gloss instead.

I followed instructions from the other reviews and ordered a half size down. However, the shoes were still too big. They were too large in the ankle and toe region. I wanted to love them but the sizing is very off.

The style is really cool, and they are comfortable if you get the right size.These run very large--I would order a full size down. Even if these had fit, they are very clunky. I'm 5'2" and have skinny legs, and they were less "sleek moto cool" and more "Bratz doll." My feet looked huge. Like Frankenstein. And sizing down would not have changed the circumference of the shaft enough to make them look less clunky. My ankles were floating in these.

These boots are sized tooo big! I've bought other Sorel boots my exact size so I'm not sure why these are bigger. I would get a size smaller. They are comfy and perfect otherwise!

I love Sorell shoes- addicted. These are beautiful and so cool looking but weigh a ton! A total bummer. I felt like my back would kill me if I wore these all day. Had to return them.

I love Sorel's wedge boots and have several pair. I am disappointed in these rain boots. I am always a 9, but these feel like a 9 1/2 or a 10. I like to wrap the laces around the top of the boots before tying to keep them snug - but this isn't possible with the rain boots. Of course rubber doesn't feel like leather. To do it over I think since the regular wedge boots are waterproof - I would not buy these rain boots. I do love the look and the color options, but these are not as good as I thought they'd be.

These were just meh for me - they had a very heavy industrial boot look, and were also very heavy, period. Since they wouldn't really look ok to wear to work, I decided to send them back. Plus sides: they were very warm and sturdy, and I am sure would keep your feet very dry!

I bought these after having good success with the Joan of Arctic wedge boot. They're similar in look so anticipated a repeat experience. However, the rubberized nature of the boot material creates a very hard and rigid inner tongue of the shoe. It rubs against the ankle area and is extremely uncomfortable. It literally creates a small wound every time I wear them. It's to the point I bought some fabric to cover the hard rubber to make them work, but they still cut into my ankle. At this point I need to wear a band-aid on my ankle every time I go to wear them. This is not the experience I'd like considering what I paid for the boots. If you're looking for style and comfort in a rain boot, I'd pass on these.

I love the look of these shoes and they are incredibly comfortable and true to size but for the price I paid for them I was hoping to at least get two seasons out of them. After the first month the left boot started making a very noticeable squeaking noise. The noise is continuing to get louder and the noise is so embarrassing that I can't where them anymore and I was looking forward to wearing them during the snow season. I'm very disappointed.

These are heavy duty alright and I don't doubt that they would keep ones feet totally dry in bad weather, however the coil insulation around the tongue was digging into the top of my feet within an hour of wearing them making me want to tear them off. You could get away with wearing them to transition from one place to another but you better have another pair of shoes to change into because these are not comfortable for wearing for long.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with these boots. They look and feel amazing, however, the decorative snaps are defective and have broken off on each shoe. Would not recommend based on this flaw.
