I bought these for a week-long tourist trip to Europe in which my group was told we would be walking all day. I made the mistake of not breaking them in before I left for my trip, so needless to say, they were tight and uncomfortable on my feet for a couple of days even though I ordered a full size bigger than my normal shoe size. After a long week of fast walking and even running through busy cities, the shoes are still a little uncomfortable around the laces. I'm hoping that they will eventually loosen up around that area, so I can wear them for a long period of time without wanting to kick them off my feet every time I sit down. Thankfully, I ordered the Dirty Laundry Hyphen tennis shoes as a back up, so I was able to give my feet a break and alternate between the two since the Dirty Laundry shoes are very light, breathable, and feel like memory foam.

The color looks more blue than platinum to me but it's as expected from the picture. I just realized he color doesn't allude to blue. They are very comfy and look nice. Nice to have a color without being super bright.

The sneakers are stylish but not the best for running

Ok for cheap running shoes. No arch support, you're going to have to put in insoles if you need any. Also, the shoe opening kind of hits your foot/ankle in all the wrong spots. I think it'll help that I put in an insole and elevated my foot some. Just a very, very basic running shoe. Kind of late to return them since I've worn them a few times, and it's not really worth the energy. If you want something more, just spend a bit more money on it --

This shoe is cute and pretty sleek, but incredibly stiff!

Felt like a good fit. Felt light and good for running. Not great for step class. My feet burned and got tight.

These are definitely for everyday use, or the gym. I like to run outside, so these would not be the shoes for me. If you like wearing sneakers then these are pretty stylish.

It turns out that I didn't like the look of the all black shoe.

shoe is too large, fits extremely wide across the front like a mans shoe, fabric is gathered as if sewn improper.

too narrow for my wide feet. also very light weight. was looking for more of a sneaker

I ordered these in a wide, but they were still extremely narrow, had to take them off within a half hour. Also gave me a huge blister on my arch.

Bought for my teen. She had a pair of Nikes that we bought at a local store. When they wore out, we bought these as replacements. Even though the size of the old shoes were still a good fit, the same in these felt short and tight. She got them on and pulled them off very quickly. Went with the Trainer 6 in a wide width. Aesthetically the Trainer 6s look a lot nicer. The Downshifter 7 has a lot more screenprinted vinyl which I didn't like at all.

Just not comfortable. They didn’t fit snugly and honestly did not feel well made. I normally wear brooks so maybe they are just very different.

Very narrow in the heal. Laces too short for wide shoe.

Way too narrow...even in the wide. Also flimsy construction. Good for looking good but not good for support or athletics

So bizarre. Not sure where these shoes are being made but, one shoe was longer than the other and part of the material on the other shoe was wider. Really wanted to love these shoes since the reviews we're good. Bummed to return them. :(

This shoe hurts! I had to return them and get another pair of nikes. These shoes are super cute and look great but even after I bought insoles to help with arch support they still caused a lot of pain. I would recommend finding another pair of nikes that have better reviews because I should have listened to what I read from other customers. Thanks to Zappos for the great customer service! They made my exchange so easy!

I love Nike running shoes but these seemed to fit a but narrow, had poor cushion and support and actually made my feet ache after I would spend time in them (running or just walking). I was really disappointed in this shoe.

This shoe was appropriately narrow in the heel, but has super wide toe box for my feet. The balls of my feet felt like they were twisting in the shoe. They look nice and are otherwise light weight. Just not for me.

I had terrible foot pain whenever I used these shoes to run. I tried inserts and went back and forth between old shoes and every time I would have terrible top of the foot pain and into my toes during running and after. I would not recommend.

They were to narrow going to have to return but they're nice shoes .

HORRIBLE! The left foot toe box digs into the top of my foot. The part where the shoelace ties up is rigid where the rest of the shoe is pliable. When I walk and my foot bends at the toe, that rigid part digs in. All I can think of is the pain. I have now, a bruise on the top of my foot. These shoes received glowing remarks from everybody else but I am so disappointed. If I could return these, I WOULD!

These shoes were on sale for $39.64 when I got them, and for the price, you really can't beat it. Unfortunately, I had to return them, They ran big, and wide, and they looked really unflattering on my foot. They are kind of big and bulky. :(

Not for me. Wanted black on black, but way too frumpy for my size 12's. Back they go!! Thank you Zappos for your continued excellent service.

Returned because it was much to short for the size and very narrow. Unable to assess the arch support.
