After wearing Asics Kayano Gel for 7 years this was my replacement...and its FABULOUS!Right out of the box I hit the pavement for a 6 then a 12 miler with zero issues. I have a Narrow foot and the standard width fits perfectly.the balance between cushion and stability if fantastic. Oh and the toe box has plenty of room. My only minor gripe are the color choices. This hot pink is more of a neon pink orange.
I'd also recommend:
asics Gel Kayano but the toe box is more narrow then Mizuno.

This is an excellent shoe for over pronation. They are very supportive and have a lot of cushioning. This is the only shoe I have found for my my foot issues.

I used to be a Brooks fan, but they have gone downhill in quality. These fit narrow feet well and have great support and cushioning. I did have to lace up the extra hole on top to keep my small heel from slipping on right foot, but that worked. I wear an 8N usually in shoes, and 8.5 in sneakers, and that worked well here.

As a 63 year old runner and workout enthusiast, I have to have shoes that provide proper support and comfort. I have owned 5 different Mizuno products, all of which I liked very much, but these are the BEST yet! They provide needed support and yet are still very light weight. I wear these on the road and for weight and resistance training and am very pleased with the performance. Added bonus: I love shoes that have white/light soles and black/white styling so that makes them even better.

I have been running in Mizuno shoes for 10 years and these shoes do not disappoint. They have the support of the Wave Inspire, but with more cushion and no noticeable added weight. They are also very stylish. I would highly recommend these shoes if you are a pronator.

These shoes run extremely small. Why do manufactures of shoes think women want to buy shoes a full size larger, both in length and width, than normal? Make your shoes to the standard expected and then maybe I'd purchase them.

I love this shoe! I needed something with good cushion and support and it does both. I do a power/fast walk 6 to 7 times per week on roads/trails (average 50 miles per week). I was a little nervous about ordering from on line without trying this style on but it was true to size compared with my other Mizuno.

I like this shoe but have a few reservations. The shoe offered great support but is really stiff and difficult to break in. I can tell the difference in how my feet and legs respond to these shoes versus other brands.
