Having had two stress fractures in my feet, I find that Mizzuno is the best option for me. None of the others offer enough stability/arch support/overall comfort. Plus, I simply love the look of Mizzuno. This is my 5th pair.

This may be the best Wave Rider since the 13. It has a bit more cushion than past versions but still has the firm feel. Definitely a step up in comfort and construction from the 19s.

I love these shoes. I decided to try a size 12 but it's too long, so I'm going back to an 11.5. I also decided to get a darker color (so it won't show the dirt as bad).

I ordered the Mizuno's because I the New Balance 840v3 has become so outdated. These shoes are pretty comparable but did run smaller in the toe box which resulted in the need to buy a full size larger. I like the style and will continue to buy more pairs!
I'd also recommend:

Great fit! I did have to size up a half size compared to my Nike tennis shoes but it makes all the difference in fit. Very comfortable. Expensive but worth every penny. This is my second pair!

Thank goodness your back! I've always worn Mizuno Wave Riders since I started running several years ago. I received a pair of Wave Rider 19 at Christmas and something was different. They weren't the same. So I ordered a pair of Wave Rider 20 and all I can say is thank goodness they're back to normal. I underpronate and have a narrow heel so I've had difficulty finding a pair of running shoes that work for me. The Wave Rider 20 will not disappoint.

This is the first time trying Mizuno brand shoes. It's the only shoe I've found to be a true narrow. My first pair of running shoes that actually fit. Very comfortable.

Love these shoes! Immediately comfortable and do not need to "breaking in" . Really happy to find shoes that come in a narrow width. Would have preferred more color choices but I chose comfor over color

I have been wearing Mizuno Wave Riders since the Wave Rider 14. Glad they made a sneaker that is still comfortable and has subtle colors. I don't care for the bright colors.

These are my first pair of Mizunos. I ordered half a size larger than my normal shoe size (a recommendation from the Mizuno website) and they fit like a glove. I have been wearing a minimalist shoe for crossfit (the New Balance WT101V1) and decided to get these when I started training for a half marathon. They felt more stiff than what I am used, but they broke in quickly after a few runs and I now love them. Finding a color I like is the hardest part with any shoe brand lately. Decided to go with the salmon/red color, and while it is definitely brighter than what I am used to, they look nice.

This is a great pair of running shoes. I trained in these for a marathon, and then for the race, I ordered a new pair. I made sure I was comfortable with the new pair. They were awesome! I had a great race and qualified for the Boston Marathon. I highly recommend these Mizunos!

I switched to another brand while training for a half and had to come back to this long time, reliable favorite. I have high arches and Mizuno doesn't disappoint in support. I'll never switch.

This shoe is true to size. It is comfortable right out of the box with good toe space. The mesh is so light and breathable! I can walk all day in this shoe without tiring my legs. The footbed is light but supportive. I wear a 9.5 M and that's what I ordered and couldn't be happier...ahh...happy feet!

I usually buy men's mizuno because I need the extra room in the toe box. Which means I have less than feminine color choices. I bought these in wide width & im so glad I did. I love the lollipop color! I wear orthotics & they fit nicely in the shoe, very comfortable

I sometimes try other brands, but I keep returning to Wave Riders. I buy them a half size bigger just so I have extra room in my toe box area when I run. I don't like a lot of arch in my shoe, so they feel good in that sense. I do wish more brands would have a narrow choice for width. I like a shoe to feel snug around my foot. I also wish that shoe company's would realize that not all women want 'girly' pastel colors. It would be nice to get some normal reds and blues in a shoe instead of hot pink and neon green.

Even though I'm not a runner, I fell in love with Mizuno Wave Rider shoes 5 years ago. I was head over heels for these purple shoes, when I saw them! Compared to the previous versions of the Wave Rider series, these are slightly larger; however, it's not enough for me to return or exchange them. As always, these are extremely comfortable and lightweight.

Had to return both the paradox 4 and wave rider 20 6.5. Loved the design and color and length, all fit well, except, after 1 hour of indoor activity, it is clearly cutting the blood circulation. I never had any fitting issues under normal size 6 and 6.5. Tend to think this Mizuno line shoes tend to be narrow. Like always, Zappo's Customer service is excellent. I wouldn't mind doing business with them. What it comes to the shoe fitting, it may be better to try and buy the first pair in local store.

I tried to like these shoes. These shoes fit really nicely over the toe area and were comfortable for walking accept for the heal area. Why do so many of these athletic shoes have a heel that digs into your ankle? I just could not stand the pain from the heel digging into my ankle every time I walked. If they would fix the heel area these would be very comfortable shoes for walking. Unfortunately, I have been forced to return these shoes.

It seemed cheaply made. I have purchased 3 pairs of Mizuno running shoes over the past 3 years. It did not seem the quality of the last 3 pairs.
