Looks sharp, feels like they'd be a great balance of minimalist gym shoe and comfort. Unfortunately the toe box is a bit narrow. Admittedly I run somewhere between a D and E width; if your feet are normal to slightly narrow these will probably be an ok fit.

These felt good overall but my only complaint is they were slightly narrow for my foot. I was going to use them for Crossfit workouts but decided not to just because of that one point. If your foot runs narrow they shouldn't be an issue. Otherwise they felt light and airy. They had a good balance of a little cushion while being minimal at the same time. I also liked the orange which was very bright. If you want a good loud/fun workout shoe and your foot isn't wide this is a good one.

These fit true to size and are so comfortable. They proved great stability for squats, etc.

ASICS is my go to brand for all sneakers, I play competitive tennis and all my tennis shoes are ASICS, When I started doing CrossFit and HIIT, of course I went with their workout shoes, they are incredible, light and strong!

Great product. I use it for lifting at the gym. comfortable and supportive but flat base good for stability. And a really cool looking shoe. Second time buying the conviction style.

Great show. Solid base for squats and deadlifts but still soft enough that I would run up to 1 mile distances if I had to. Bought them for CrossFit and HIIT and couldn't be happier. My only change is that I would maybe go 1/2 size down, they ran a tiny bit longer than I expected. Overall great!

I have Planters Fasciitis so needed a good shoe with great support for working out - typically ride stationary bike - can't really walk regardless of shoe - great for bike then I lift - using machines not free weights and these shoes offer great support for lifting. Overall very happy with the shoe.

I've had my Conviction Xs for about a month and consistently receive compliments from friends and strangers alike. They are cool!

Thrilled that Asics released a low-drop training shoe to go head to head with the Nanos and Metcons. I purchased these just over three months ago and could not be happier with them. Outstanding stability, support, and comfort, and still look perfect with no tears or visible wear on the uppers...and this is after ~40 tough CrossFit workouts. Something about the Asics lasts that just always fits my foot perfectly, and provides the right amount of arch support (I tend to pronate badly in other brands). About to order another pair in case these ever get discontinued!

They may not openly tell you this themselves, but considering the Rhino skin for the rope climbs and the flat stability for lifting....these shoes are perfect for CrossFit. I have no reason for garbage shoes like the Metcon's or the Nano's if Asics keeps this up!

I've used them about three weeks now (6 days a week). I love them. Heel cup is perfect for me. They're snug but not too tight and the arch is just right. You can feel what you're doing like a good tire but you can still tell there's some cushion. Platform is solid. Skin is killer. Very breathable too.

I have been using these trainers a few weeks now for rowing and lifting weights. Overall Brilliant shoe for those purposes, however they aren't machine washable. Such a shame because otherwise the shoe would be 5*.

I bought this shoe primarily to wear to the gym. My first impression is that the materials feel cheap and the overall feel is not to Asics standard. I've worn the shoe for the past three weeks 3 to 5 time a week. Good support, and I get compliments as they do look sharp! They run true to size and are light weight for sure. Just not my favorite ASICS.

I liked the way these shoes looked when I took them out of the box. They are the perfect weight -- not featherweight, but not clunkers. A solid midweight. Sole looked liked it would last a good long while.
Unfortunately, the tongue of the shoe was PAPER THIN!! It was very uncomfortable. I am returning the shoes. If such things (like comfort) matter, you might want to look for a different Asics shoe.
