Based on other reviews I am likely on the boarder between a small and a medium so I chose the medium (I am 5'4'' and 140 lbs.). The medium fits very well although I could have likely been fine with the small but I do like the shorts to be a bit loose. The shorts do not ride up at all when walking in hot, humid weather.

Love, Love, Love this skort. I have it in a bright orange and get so many compliments. But I don't think they have the orange. I bought at least a year ago. So I just received one in blue and it is a gorgeous blue. I am 60+, so don't like wearing too short of a skort....this is perfect. No buttons, no zipper....just slip it on and go. I wear it everywhere. You won't go wrong. By the way, I am a size 10 and the Large fits perfect.

Fits true to size. I normally wear a size 4 and bought the Small which fits perfectly. Great length, above the knee a few inches, but not too short. Great material, very light and soft, doesn't wrinkle so perfect for travel. SO comfortable to wear and just moves with your body. Waistband is stretchy so you pull the skort up and down like a pair of shorts, but no bunching on waistband at all, lies completely flat unlike more elastic waistbands. Shorts are looser which makes this skort my most comfortable and favorite one I own - actually own 3 of these cuties! Two of them are over 3 years old and still look great because Royal Robbins makes awesome stuff. Pricey but you'll get your money out of them because they wear well.

This skort is absolutely the best. I am a size 10 and the large fit great. I wear skorts all summer...even when I am gardening. The material is very soft. Highly recommend. It's also flattering.

Super comfortable and cute skort! Royal Robbins makes really good quality stuff, too, worth the price. Doesn't wrinkle - Great for travel and multi day wearing. No zipper, pulls up and down like shorts but has a flat waist band so no frumpy looking stretchy bulk there. Great mid thigh length. Shorts aren't super tight like some skort shorts are; nice for wearing all day! Thin, cool fabric as well. The "small" fits me like my usual size 4 skorts do. I already have 2 of these beauties!

So comfortable. Perfect for an semi casual event, work or just hanging with friends. Liked it so much that a week after having it went back and purchased 2 more!

I wanted to like the skort, but the shorts underneath cling to the skirt and both then ride up and look odd. It has also faded quickly with minimal cold water washings.

Fit and size is perfect. This is my 5th Royal Robbins Jammer Skort and I like it so much, I'm going to get one more pair. The outer fabric is soft and water resistant. The inner short is more stretchy, but it is not tight. I wear a medium and it's the right length (I'm 5'2") for me and it rides a little below my waist. The pockets are deep enough to hold my cell phone without worrying about it falling out when I sit.

An absolute winner ! Comfortable, packable, and the orange is beautiful. I am buying one in every color :)

Love the fit, love the feel, love the style, unfortunately I will return it because it’s 3-4 inches too short for a 70 year old. Darn!

Very comfortable

So cute. I was very disappointed it was too big. It was exactly what I was looking for. I'm 5'1 & 105 but it was loose and a little too long. For the right person it would be great for travel

I love this little skort! It’s so soft and feels really comfortable on. I’m between 130-135 lbs, 5’4” tall. I chose the medium khaki/tan colored one. I probably could have gone with a size small. I tighten up the waist with the cute little tie on the side. It’s not too short on me. I may have to get another color. :)

I am 76 and I love wearing skorts, but I’m picky. I don’t like them too short or too tight. I weigh 98 pounds and this Royal Robbins Skort in size XS fits perfectly. The undershorts are comfortably long and a bit loose, just the way I like them. The skort feels fashionable because the fabric has a slight texture, and the tie at the waist adds interest and enables me to adjust the fit to be perfect. I use the two front pockets and rear pocket when golfing. I usually hesitate buying clothing online because fit is so difficult, but I’m so glad I ordered this skort. It has become one of my favorite items of summer clothing.

Medium is a little loose, but small is too tight, 5’, 118 lbs. I kept the medium and love that I feel casually dressed up

Really cute skort, light weight. The shorts underneath are loose, not tight elastic which makes the skort cool and comfortable. I live in a hot climate, and wear these for outdoor exercise and at the beach. The orange color is beautiful. True to size., good length.

I wasn't crazy about the tie on the side as it doesn't seem like it'll hold up well. Cute though, the right length, and fit.

perfect sporty fit, I'm 5'4"....115 with a bit of a bubble bottom, the XS is perfect. I now own black and light khaki.

awesome, I'm 5'4", 115. The XS is perfect. I don't want the tie waist drawcord, but it is easy to to just tuck the string inside for a smooth waistband.

This runs large! I usually wear a size 2 or a 4, or if the sizes are given as words, I wear a small. I ordered the small originally and it was very big on me. I could have made it work by cinching in the tie, but it then bunched up in the back in a very unattractive way. I returned it and got the extra small. I was concerned that it might be too extreme in the other direction. But, no worries. Even the extra small is a bit loose, but not falling off of me. I would say if you are borderline between sizes, size down. I like the fabric and the cut. Having a tie to cinch in is a definite plus. Having side pockets is also handy. I bought this for walking because I think the fabric will be comfortable and the lighter color should be good for visibility.

True to size

Super comfortable and lightweight but durable. I ordered a 12 and it was a little roomy but the drawstring helps. I love the pockets!

I am slender, but I still don't feel comfortable wearing shorts since my early 30s so I love to wear skorts. (I am 48) This skort is so comfortable, cute, flattering, and the shorts underneath are comfy too which really matters. I wear size 2 in women's clothing- sometimes size 0. I purchased both the XS and the S in this skort and they both fit. One is more fitted and the other a looser fit. I will most likely keep them both. I definitely recommend since there is modesty and they look GREAT! I've tried skorts by other brands, but since I'm a runner w/ muscular legs, often the underneath shorts w/ other skorts are sometimes too tight while the skirt portion fits. Not an issue here- this skort is a great fit all around.
