Great boot. Great fit. Not at all Stylish.

Very comfortable, but the "stout brown" is too dark- more black than brown.... wish this style and insert color came in their walnut leather Just too dark, would have just order black if that was what I wanted...:(

Love the look and durability but they run small, about a half size and seem to require a long break in period. Very stiff and hard to get on and off.

Ordered my usual size, an 8 1/2 since I have wide feet (reviews said half sizes are wider, not longer) and they were too small- my toes hit the end on both feet. Width felt right though. Zappos didn’t have a 9 1/2 so I ordered elsewhere (for $20 cheaper). 3 stars because they were really cute and well made.

These have a unisex fit. I measured my foot and ordered women's 7.5. The boots came labeled men's 5.5/ women's 7.5. I love the overall look but I would have liked them much better if they offered a womens specific fit. The toe area is too wide (or boxy looking?) and my toe was just touching the edge of the boot, but going up a size would be too much. It felt like I was wearing a youth (boy's) 5.5 shoe as far as the fit goes. Sadly, I had to return these.

I am usually a 7.5B in boots, with medium-thick socks, so the AU4.5 is probably closest I will get to my size in these. I also tried on the size 4, which is exactly the same length as the 4.5-- in Australian sizing, the half sizes are just slightly wider versions of the full sizes. I tried on the 4 in the black 510-- and this boot was less snug actually than the 4.5, which I realized was because the leather is different between the two styles. I prefer the brown "stout" color, which is also a slightly thicker leather; but the 4.5 in that style felt too snug, so I'm going to try a 5 and a 5.5. I think the 4.5 in the black 510 would probably be perfect for me, because the black leather is thinner.

These shoes fit great--I wear women's 9.5-10 and have wide feet, and the Aus size 7.5 was perfect. The problem is that when I put these shoes on, I could feel that the right sole was thicker than the left. As in, I was standing a little crooked. Checked to make sure one of the shoes wasn't missing an insole or something. Nope, it's the actual sole. In addition to the sole problem, I also don't think the overall quality is as good as it was 15-20 years ago. Not sure if I will try another pair, but these are definitely going back.

I ordered a woman's US 6 and Zappos mistakenly sent AUS 6. Gigantic! Three sizes too large. Immediately returned.
