Felt too narrow, my feet are thin and narrow, but these are ridiculously narrow.

Have been wearing Asics for years.
This last pair were very tight in toe and heel areas. Also the laces were too long.

Going to have to add that the toe ars it's so much more narrow! Asics is my go to brand because they always fit my feet. I wear a woman's 13 and have slightly wider foot. There's no room to move up and I'm practically out of feminine options....

As a running shoe, this shoe, brand new, had less cushioning than my old Asics Gel Evolution 5. I bought these shoes to alleviate some knee pain, but when I wore them for the first time, they had a harder feel when running on the road than the old ones, and my knees still hurt, maybe even worse. I was very disappointed since they were so expensive and since having new shoes did not relieve the pain. I went to a running store for some expert advice and got a different brand that did the job I was hoping the Asics could do. I had been buying Asics for 10 years or more, and this was a huge disappointment. Since manufacturers mess around with the features and quality of shoes all the time, this has taught me that I need to entirely re-evaluate my shoe needs each time I think about buying a pair, read the shoe specs carefully, and get expert advice each time. There are so many variables to buying a running shoe because everyone's needs are different. Over the years, my shoe needs have changed. Do it right the first time and I'll not waste $100 or so on the wrong shoe. This Asics Gel-Flux 4 shoe is nice looking and comfortable enough when you put them on, but a hard feel when running on the road, and it was just the wrong show for me. It's not a neutral shoe; I needed a straight last, to begin with. Oh, well. Run, live, and learn.
