Very comfortable for the gym, beach, pool, or super casual. Like all slides, they limit your ability to maneuver, so I don't recommend as a walking shoe.

Very comfortable sandal with a thick memory foam cushion. I wear an 11.5 and ordered the 12. They were too big. I went online to Zappo's at 4:00 pm to exchange for a size 11...and I received them the next day! The 11 fits perfectly. I highly recommend these slide sandals. Worth the price....and Zappos customer service is exceptional.

As for as a flip flop style shoe is concerned comfort is key. Highly cushioned sole provides support walking on hard surfaces and the adjustable strap doesn't wear or irritate your skin. Perfect fit per sized ordered.
