This product was nothing like the picture. I bought this item twice before without problems. I would have returned them but my husband needed shoes very badly. They got him but he was not happy with the color or style.

I loved the Nimbus 18 but the 19 rum very small and narrow. I usually order up a half size from my regular shoes but with this I needed a whole size larger. Haven't use it yet because I need to return it.

The toe box is narrow on these for a medium width.

Apparently this line run 1/2 smaller than other ASICS shoes. Maybe put that on the description to save time/return? Or just make all your shoes consistently sized?

I wear ASICS exclusively usually the Nimbus but the 19 was not as great as the previous ones. The cushion was still fine but fit poorly.

Had the same cushion as all the Nimbus ASICS but the fit of these was very narrow, tight and short! I've been wearing these for years buy at least 4 pair a year. Hope the Nimbus 20 is better.

I've been wearing a gel nimbus for years. All have fit perfectly and have lasted many many miles. This version was a little tighter at first but eventually broke in to a comfortable fit. Only major problem is the shoe started coming apart in the toe area after less than 6 months. The material literally starting separately on the outer toe side of each shoe. I'm a loyal buyer and YES I will buy again because I'm sure the issue will be fixed.

Great product but why on earth did they narrow the width from the 17's to the 18's and 19's! Sorry Aspics, you lost a customer.

I have always worn the Nimbus and loved them. These are not the same shoes. Not sure if there's so much gel in them but my legs are so tired after wearing them. Almost like walking in quicksand. I haven't worn these very much and feel I wasted my money. Please go back to the older ones!

The Nimbus line has been my go to shoes for the past few years. Plantar fasciitis has been a problem and these have provided relief. Because of the wide with of my foot I wear a men's 8.5 4E. Women's sizes are never wide enough. This pair is very tight and do not have same width as previous purchases. May not purchase again if this will be the standard.

I agree with many other reviewers — this sizing is different from previous Nimbus versions. I estimate that it 1/2 size smaller plus narrower. I am a high reasonably high mileage runner (40-60 miles/week) and have been running for years in various iterations of the Nimbus models (I think I started with Nimbus 11). I suggest to other Nimbus fans to anticipate trying two sizes on.

This make of the shoe is definitely more narrow and made quite different. I love the previous model and I'd have to say I like this model but don't love it. Especially since I was expecting what I was used to and it was so different.

The 19's are not great - I liked earlier models much better. I want to know why other companies keep popular models around for decades but Asics forces us to get new shoes every year? Why cant they let us vote on the most popular model of Asic Nimbus, label it a classic and keep it around for an extended period of time? At this point Im having to use insoles when I didnt have to before and they are on the verge of losing me. What makes me stay is the fact that I can do 3 months/almost 450 miles before the soles are run through... but I'm sure I can find something else that does that.

I have a 20 year affair with Asics shoes. They never have let me down. However, this latest shoe...something has changed. They have made the shoes narrower than in the past. After the first two miles, it becomes very apparent the width of the shoe is narrower than in the past. Others have chimed in as well about the shoe design change but I figured I would still give the company the benefit of the doubt. Nope, the design has changed and not for the better. After two miles in, the pain begins in the right shoe and it almost becomes unbearable. Buyer beware.

I've been happily wearing the Nimbus line for years. My size has always been 11.5 and Medium foot width. This year I don't know what Asics was thinking. I can barely get my foot into the 11.5 medium shoe now. This is crazy and, frankly, annoying.

Long story short, not only are these shoes smaller in "length" than any of my other ASICS shoes (I have 7 pair), but the width is narrower. Bottom line, either my feet are growing all of a sudden or ASICS has made the decision to shrink their shoes. I'm far from 100% pleased with this purchased. I'll keep shoes, but I would NOT recommend them. Sorry Zappos!

These shoes truly run small and narrow. I have worn six iterations of the Gel Nimbus including numbers 17 and 18 which were both sized significantly wider. They are good looking and well cushioned, but for $160 you would think Asics could provide a little more nylon.

I only wear Asics and wear mine for running, gym and standing for long hours. I wear a 9.5 and have narrow feet. The last pair of Asics I owned were the women's nimbus 16. Unfortunately, the 19 doesn't measure up. It looks and feels poorer quality and the cushioning is stiffer. The sizing also seems shorter and narrower than previous models. With previous Asics' I've owned I put the trainers on and right away I felt the cushion and comfort. Not so with the 19. It's my second day wearing them and I still feel they need "breaking in."

I have owned many GEL-Nimbus shoes (15-19) although had to switch to Brooks during the 18 debacle due to poor fit - especially the heel. The 19 has a much better feel and heel-fit than the 18, however the toe box is crazy narrow. While okay for short runs (i.e., < 4 mi), this can be a problem for longer runs. I had to break off a 15 mile run at 9 miles to avoid torching my feet. I knew they ran narrow and went up a size, but this hasn't worked out as planned. Buyers - Consider the 4E. Asics - please bring back the bigger toe box, but keep the rest of the design.

Not since Nimbus 16 have I been happy. I always am hopeful but feel like Charley Brown when Lucy promises she will hold the football for him to kick and she pulls it away to his dismay. These shoes out of the box again like the last three preceding run too small in length and the toe box is cramped. Even with foot gel and runners thin sock I developed three blisters after running only three miles. The old Nimbus never did that.
