I bought these back in February and made it a point to not wear them every day to make them last. Which was easy over the summer as I love my flip flops. However, when putting my beloved ASICS back on, I realized they had begun ripping along the upper sides! I've never in my years of purchasing ASICS had anything like this happen! I don't even have tread missing on the bottom yet!!! Poor quality shoes at such a high price! I really expected more out of these! My last pair lasted way longer than this! I am so disappointed and am beginning to believe this will be my last Pair of ASICS. When you pay this much for a pair of shoes, you expect them to last! I can't even wear them anymore due to the ripping. ASICS you'll have to do much better than this to keep my business!

I've had 2-3 pairs of Nimbus Asics for the past few years. These are hands down not the same as the 18's and previous. My toes are so squished into the shoe that it's uncomfortable from lace up. Figured I'd try to run in them and maybe mold the cushions down. Not happening. These also lack the walking on cloud feeling the others had, which I loved. The only positive is the color selections.

I wear nothing but Gel Nimbus and have always worn a size 9. Bought the beautiful beautiful blue/violet in a nine and they are so narrow and my toe touches the top of the shoe...can't find this color in a larger size...so disappointed.

After 25 years of good ascics fit, these are tight and narrow, cannot use them due to the pain in my feet and poor fit. I must now look for a brand that fits to my size, disappounted because I cannot wear them.

Have worn Asics for 10+ years and have owned several Nimbus versions. Always a 10.5 regular width and ordered sight unseen many times. Always fit perfect before. Bought the Nimbus 19 and they are ridiculously small/narrow. Can't even wear them to mow the grass. Really like the style though, so gave other sizes a try. So I went from being a 10.5 regular to now needing an 11.5 in 4E? What in the world happened to Asics' sizing?

After wearing ASICS for 10 years, I'm finally going to switch as the toe box shrunk in last years version and has not returned back. So I went up a half size and now it doesn't fit around the heel. So frustrating

I had size 9 in the 15th version so after reading the reviews of these running smaller I still order the size 9. Huge mistake they are being returned today. I subsequently ordered the 9.5 and there was a defect on the right tongue so those are going back today as well. What a disappointment.

There was some sort of design flaw in the GEL-Nimbus 19. The toe box was too tight. The problem was corrected in the 20.

I was please with other Asicus, but th it s one is aweful. The gel is not evident in the wearing.

I have been buying nimbus for over 10+ years. Nimbus were my "go to" shoe. The nimbus19 were very narrow and tight. I returned them.

Got extra wide but still Too tight and narrow, gave me severe leg pain, Asics last two edition is very bad, I don't know why. All my friends complaint too.

I completely agree with all the reviews saying the shoes are too small. The 18s were PERFECT. Had I know the 19s would be like this, I would have ordered tons of the 18s. Now I'm struggling to find a shoe I loved as much as the 18s. PLEASE BRING BACK THE 18s!!!!!!! LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS because you're losing us :(

Totally agree with these not so great reviews!! I'm so sad. They were PERFECT before. 18s were so comfortable straight out of the box! Why did they have to go and change them ?!?! I've always worn a 10.5 but had to go up to sz 11. And they are still way too crammed up front. And now the 18s are no longer available in my size anywhere.

What did Asics do to this shoe? This version is unwearable. I have been wearing this shoe for about 15 years and loving it. This is such a disappointment. Asics - figure this out and get back to the product that worked.

I was really disappointed with the Gel-Nimbus 19. The 16, 17, and 18 were perfect but the 19 had a narrow toe box and I couldn't wear them. Had to return them. I really hope they fix this with the 20.

I love the color and comfort of the foot bed, but they are very narrow in the toe box and I had to return them. I was really disappointed, especially because I have worn previous models and loved them.

Can you please not fix what wasn't broken???!!! Make them how they used to be! Still to narrow!!! I have been wearing these shoes since 17 years and they used to be my go to pair! If you will not go back to your old quality I have to look somewhere else!

I have worn Gel Nimbus for years. This was my second pair of 19. In my first run wearing my new shoes I ralized my shoes were flat; they had less cushion than the shoes I had used for four months. I will continue to purchase Gel Nimbus but will try them on in a store prior to buying.

How come ASICS offers the latest men's 4E Nimbus only in black or gray as opposed to the whole rainbow of colors available for all other sizes? Black shoes might be useful if I were to wear them to a funeral or gray slacks but I was actually planning to use them for running. As I have done for the past 15 years. The Nimbus 4E are the perfect shoe for my stride and foot. Makes no sense. Come on ASICS, you can do better than that.

I bought this shoe last week. My first clue should have been when I tried it on my original try on was my tried and true 7.5, which is perfection in my nimbus 17 and 18. It was so small, it fit like a size 6! I had to go up an entire shoe size to an 8. That was still a little snug to be honest. The toe box is obviously meant for someone missing their toes. The shoe is so insanely narrow you would have to have extremely skinny feet or a procedure to remove a third of your foot to make these shoes fit comfortably. I have a heel spur and these shoes have always been a God send for reliving the discomfort. Now my heel and the sides of my feet ache. They are going back ASAP. What happened to the nimbus? Did everyone who designed the fantastic nimbus of the past get fired? Did asics decide they didnt want our money anymore? I'm extremely disappointed and now on the search for a shoe that will relieve my foot pain, not give me more of it.

Bought these because they felt so soft and cushiony. They were great for a few days. Seems like the arches fell, and the material flattened within a few weeks. Not please, and would not recommend. They toe box is more narrow than it used to be.
