True to size

I love these shorts so much that I bought two in every color. I wear them while I surf, train at the gym, and every day out and about. I love the pockets and how quick they dry when I get out of the water. Best shorts ever! Def wish they would come out with the shorter lengths though!

These are nice fitting, soft, and dry so quickly. I use them for boating with a tidal tee as if I get hot I can jump in and know I'll dry quickly and be protected from the sun. Win!

These shorts are the most comfortable shorts that I own. The material is really stretchy and fits so well. They look much more dressy than normal "sporty" shorts. I want to wear these shorts all the time!

Gosh, these are nice shorts. Thick material, very stretchy, good length at 5". They dry quickly when wet, and look nice when they dry so you can be out on the water, then run errands in them. I found them to run really large- I got a medium and they literally would fall down if I didn't cinch the waist string tightly. I am 5'8", 135, have a pudgy tummy and slim hips, and ordered the medium. I'm going to order the small size as well and see if they fit a bit better.

I've been looking for fast dry shorts for so long & these are perfect!

I got this product in the Pixie color. The color is beautiful. My concern with them was that they might be see through because of the light color. Not the case. The fabric is breathable but high quality in feel and appearance. I got a Small and it is a perfect fit (5'3 128lbs). As with most of the PFG line the pockets are really functional in size. Really great product and I plan on purchasing more colors.

I don't usually wear shorts - I prefer skorts or dresses, but these shorts have changed my mind. I bought them for biking, kayaking and SUP. Dry quick. Look great. Fit is nice and easy for movement while looking awesome. The blue macaw print is perfect to wear with my Columbia PFG shirts. Thank you Columbia for realizing that full figured women want quality active clothing too.

I now have three pairs of these shorts. I love them. Tons of pockets, great material for being on the water, not too short not too long, and they are fun prints that match with my Columbia shirts. A large percentage of my closet is Columbia and I've never been disappointed! These shorts dry quickly and hold up very well when washed. I live in the Florida Keys and these qualities are a necessity. If you're contemplating buying, just do it! You won't regret it.

I purchased the navy shorts. I love the way they fit, the are a bit high on the waist on me (I'm 5'2) so I just rolled down the waist band. They are dressy enough that they look professional, but extremely comfortable. they don't restrict movement. love them. wish they had them in black and khaki!!!!

These shorts are great. They are cute and very comfortable. I recommend sizing down one size, especially if you have narrow hips.

The fit and function are great. I have these in navy blue, and I just bought "sunset red." Unfortunately, I think Columbia enhanced the image to make the color appear redder and brighter than it really is. I wish I could upload an unfiltered pic. The color is more of a dull/dusty/pinkish color. Fit is good. For ref I normally wear a 4 or 27 waist in pants, and I got a small.

I have these in almost every color, love these shorts. Super comfy. My only issue is that the Large is a little too big and the medium is too snug. I have played softball for 18 years, so you can imagine I have large thighs! Lol. In the medium the waist is good but the thigh is too snug, in the large the waist is too big but thighs fit perfect. Over all you don't want your shorts tight while out on the water anyway so I still give these a great review! Will continue to purchase!

Fit perfectly, maybe a little on the small side. The fabric is great, very light and breathable.
