Size on this one is not consistent with other styles. I will probably need to take in the sides to keep the straps from falling off my shoulders.

The top half runs big, straps fall down and extra fabric across the chest (C cup). I just altered it.

While the fabric and construction of the dress was great, the overall design was frumpy looking. When designing a plus size garment, please gather information from acrual plus sized women. The placement of the bustline is awkward, and the dress itself looked like a large tube. I was very disappointed, and returned both dresses.

Its a nice summer dress, but the material shows every lump and bump. Would have been better if it was a cotton blend for summer.

The dress feels very light and airy. It's s good length. The chest is cut for someone with a pretty large chest so the straps slip down. I need to figure out if I can take it in somehow.

Pretty dress! Lightweight. I wanted to love it but the fit was off. Had a very blousy bustline. I tried XXL , too small, 2X way too big. Both went back. Good luck if you can get it to fit.

I bought this dress in two sizes, based on the measurements on the website. The recommended size 2XL was extremely loose on the neckline and flowed out like a tent. The shoulder straps were way off, slipping on my shoulders. I tried the XXL and it fit better, but the seam at the bust line was too high and ran across my chest in a very unflattering way. I really wanted to love this dress but it was not meant to be. No pockets also was disappointing.

I own 2 of these and they're so cute, they fit great from the bottom hem to the ribcage. Above that it's huge, the top just hangs off me, the neck gapes, and the straps fall off my shoulders, it's like the top is sizes up. I finally just put a pleat in the center of the neckline and now it fits better now. Still though, it's super comfortable, lightweight, easy to wash. I even took it camping and it was super comfortable and easy to rinse out and hang to dry. Works well as a beach coverup, too.

I bought this dress to wear as a swim cover-up for boating. The cut for the underarms is a bit gappy. Also bought it in "Tropic Water" which looks close to turquoise on my screen, but turns out to be a very green teal in person.

Top fits a little wonky but it is a very nice dress. I may need to try a smaller size

As a plus size woman I was hopeful this dress would be that perfect all around town dress I could wear. It was the perfect cut for my pear shape body. It was lightweight and very flattering in the bodice. However the arm holes were way to big and dropped down further than my bra line. The back buckled at my lower back giving unwanted attention to my bosom. Needless to say, I returned it. If the arms had fit better I probably would have kept it even with the bum issue. It would have been a great dress for casual activities and the beach.

I love all my Columbia items but this is not what I expected. The top bodice did not fit under my breast. It was not fitted at all on top for me a large busted woman. The arm holes were huge and hung down much too far. The fabric was not to my liking but I am sure many others love it. I was expecting it to be more like my Columbia shirts. Customer service was very helpful with my returns and exchanges, as always. I love dealing with this company even when I am disappointed in an item.

I am 5"8" and 280 lbs. I wear a size 44 D bra. Typically I wear a size 2x. I decided to order a 3x in this product as I think Columbia often runs a little small. Every thing looked great with the exception of the top. As other have stated, the straps are to far apart which makes the scoop necks collapse. I found the fabric a bit too thin as well.

It ran big in my opinion. Definitely a bathing suit type of material. Nice coverage at the top.

Overall I mostly agree with the earlier review. I would not buy this dress again. I took a chance on the 2X in a clearance color (I'm typically a 2x) and it fits fine through the body. The straps "feel" like they're too wide-set, but they haven't actually fallen down yet. The fabric feels silky and comfy. However, it makes me look like a sack of potatoes. Granted at a size 2X I'm no supermodel, but this clings to every bump and bulge, which is not desirable! I'll keep it since it was pretty cheap, and wear it around the house or in the hotel room while traveling. It feels cool to the touch (on the outside of the dress) but I don't really notice it cooling my body at all. That said, if Columbia released this fabric in scoop-neck tees, I'd probably buy a bunch.

Cute but I have very wide ( broad ) shoulders and the straps on this dress are out to wide even for me . Not sure what someone who's not quite as broad as me would do . Also fabric has really weird smell that I hope will go away. I am torn as to keep it or not.

I was excited to find these dresses for an upcoming trip but had to return them because the neckline is cut wide and makes it saggy, even though I'm quite busty.

Definitely not true to size. Runs very small but overall a very pretty dress.

This dress was a good fit, went down a size but washed by hand & the blue went into the white but still wearable. Love that it is light weight.

It does not fit right. I also order different design, It was blue, pink and green color floral combo, they send me green, orange color combo with tree branch combination like above picture.

I wanted a casual dress for hot summer days, but this is more like a swim cover-up or a nightgown. There isn't any shape to the dress and the material is similar to the thickness of a workout shirt. I'm sure it wicks moisture, and the tag on the dress says it is part of their fishing apparel line, but the lack of shape and overall style has me sending it back.

I bought this as a travel dress but found the straps were WAY too far apart in size 3X to be flattering. The armholes are huge and would show most of my bra. I wear it only over my black bathing suit and nowhere else. It was much too expensive for a bathing suit cover-up!. The dress fits okay in the waist and hips, though in the plus size it is not nearly as flared as in the picture. The material is light and cool but does show every bulge and panty line underneath. Not recommended in the plus size.

I read the reviews prior to purchasing this dress and the only standout negative was the wide placement of the shoulder straps. I figured that wasnt thaaat big of a deal, so I gave it a try. I must say, the straps were set pretty wide, but that wasnt the biggest problem with the dress...THE FABRIC IS HORRENDOUS. It seriously feels like a slip dress, is not flattering in the slightest (shows every single imperfection through the fabric). I really wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt...dont waste your time with this dress.

The skirt on this dress has no flare to it - and because of the fabric, it makes my hips look extra wide. The straps are very wide and far apart with large arm holes. I liked the concept of a plus-sized, summer dress with technical fabric. But this one is designed terribly!
