I am looking to start running in any weather and this seems like it will work nicely. The NF rep was very helpful in helping me to choose it.

I use this jacket over warmer clothing and as a windbreaker. It folds up nicely to fit in my bike bag. I have been in really wet weather and have stayed dry.

I expected the jacket to be heavier in weight. It was larger than the size large I normally wear. I have ordered other items from the northface that I am satisfied with.

It was good quality but didn't work for the shape of my body. I have a long torso and broad shoulders.

Haven't worn in rain yet but the fit is nice. I like the light color for walking in low light. Bought it for warm summer walks. It's functional and stylish.

I've purchased other North Face jackets over the years but this has been a favorite I've mine. I love the color. The waist style along with the stand up collar and hide away hood are a few of the style details I was looking for. The roomy front pockets are a plus!

This is great as and outer layer for running but it isn't rainproof I was soaked through after a 45min run in a slight drizzle.

I'm 5feet tall and this comes up mid-butt to me. I got a small and it's got room for me to wear a sweater inside it if I wanted to. I purposely got it so I could do that. I like the velcro outside to use after zipping up. Def appropriate for what I bought it for

I love this light weight jacket. I usually wear a medium and I got a medium , little loose but that's how I like it. So I bought two!

I use this as a top layer for hiking and really love it. I only wish the front main zipper was stronger and held better.

It is an ok rain jacket. great quality, just not thrilled with the fit.It is boxy, wide and too short. for reference I'm 5'9", size 6 in clothes.

This jacket was exactly what I wanted. Durable, reliable, and looks cute on. It's warm enough for colder days and light enough for warmer rainy days. Water comes off instantly and the fabric is great quality. My only dislike is the the collar is a little high for my personal preference and is a bit uncomfortable when wearing the jacket casually but definitely not a dealbreaker. The high neck would come in handy during a very cold and windy day. 100% would recommend.

I love this light weight rain jacket! It keeps me dry but ventilated especially for summer months. I bought a M so that I could still wear a sweatshirt underneath if need be once fall season arrives. The color is also gorgeous which is a plus!

I like the design and style of the jacket. It is lined with mesh and is very thin, so easy to pack and go. I wish the pockets were lined. The neck area is lined so helps when fully zipped up to warm your neck but the rest of the jacket has a mesh lining so if it's really cold you might not go with this jacket. It's better for like spring or fall weather.

I got the "Dramatic Plum". Delivery came fast- 2 days! But the color is waayy darker than the picture, it's a completely different color. It is not pink at all, it's more like a very dark magenta, with a lot of purple tones. I have been looking for a small rain jacket that is the same color pink that is in the picture advertised (hot pink), and I thought this was going to be it!
I love the jacket though, everything else about it is great.

Only complaint is my own fault because I prefer a longer raincoat so my thighs don't get wet. I love the hat style hood. The rain doesn't pour all over my face! I'd say it's more of a light rain jacket vs downpour (again only because of the length). It's not warm.. more for early fall/spring weather

I love the color (burnt olive), fit, hood design (how it folds up into the collar) and soft fleece along the inside neckline. However there are inside pockets you can't access because the mesh lining has been sewn over them. I'm so confused and I keep looking for a way to access them but I can't. Why even put them there? Also I wish the wrist cuffs had the adjustable velcro straps like the venture 2 jacket. Other than those 2 issues it would be the perfect jacket. 4 stars because I like more than I don't like about it.

I appreciate the quality of The North Face products and think this is a quality jacket, but the sleeves were just too long for me. I am 5'4", 34B, with petite-length arms and have difficulty finding coats that don't overwhelm my arms.

If you need a rain coat, I suggest getting this one. It does keep you dry. It is a lightweight coat that runs a bit small though. I did read the reviews before I ordered, and I usually wear a XS, but I went with a small. I'm glad I did! The small fits just fine; however, I'm only wearing a long sleeve shirt under the coat. If I wanted to layer more, it would be a snug fit for me. I'm 4'10.5", and the coat runs slightly below my bottom. The sleeve are just a smidge too long, but I'm a shorty. I love that it has a hood! This is perfect for me walking my dog, running errands in the rain, etc. I gave it four stars because I had to order up a size.

The jacket itself was great, however it ran a little on the smaller side. Size up for layering.

Great rain jacket, feels high quality and definitely keeps the wind and rain out. Although, I will say this jacket definitely runs smaller than other North Face jackets. I have three different jackets (all in the same size) by The North Face and this one seems to fit the tightest. So if you're unsure definitely go a size up.

I love this jacket a lot but the only thing i didn't really like was the length. I am 4'9 so this windbreaker reaches around my mid thighs. So it's looks a bit weird. I did get it in a size small because the XS SMALL was too tight around my arms. But besides that i don't have any other problems with this jacket. I would recommended you to go buy it. The quality is amazing.
