I know that when anyone thinks 'North Face' the next thing that comes to mind is the price tag that accompanies all of their murchendice.
I am in that group of people, where I have to sit down, and really think about it before I purchase a jacket for this price; however, I assure you that it is well worth the price you pay.
I am heading off to college, and needed to find a jacket that would last me for a while, but also be good to wear in the rain. I searched several sights for a good jacket, but always kept coming back North Face.
I finally decided to order their jacket, and I was very pleased with it. The jacket arrived in 4 days, and it has already been put to good use; and I love the face that the jacket comes with a lifetime warranty.
Again, this jacket has already been put to a fair amount of use in the 3 weeks I've had it, and it was worth every penny. Definatly a jacket to consider, if you're looking for a lightweight, durable raincoat.

This jacket was awesome! I went to a concert where it rained the entire time. By the end of the night I was the only one whose rain jacket had kept them dry.

Love the jacket Planning an Alaska land and sea tour next May and everybody has told us to be sure and have a rain coat. I like the loose fit so I can wear it over layers Ordered a large because North Face sometimes fits a little small and it is a perfect fit. I will recommend it to anybody. The color is a little more green than taupe but like it. Also like the mesh lining!!

Bought this in marker blue (xs) for the summer as I needed a lightweight rain jacket. Awesome purchase! Fits perfectly! I even wore it with me waterfall rappelling and it kept my top dry (miraculously!) even though I was being drenched with water from the spout.

This is built for Seattle weather. Any of you who have visited, or live here understand what I mean by that. Don't hesitate on this coat, it is the perfect light layer, and can be layered with a jacket or polar tech vest underneath quite easily.

I love this jacket. I love how the main color of the jacket is offset by the interior color of the lining and hood. This jacket runs a little smaller than the Venture style so if you are looking to get one similar to the venture I would suggest ordering a size larger. I love North Face products though. They are the best

I love this jacket! I've been looking everywhere for a raincoat that looks cute, fits right, and keeps me dry! I go on long hikes with my pup and go on a lot of mission trips; also have a brother who recently moved to the Pacific Northwest- this jacket is perfect. I can wear it or pack it in any sized bag for the mountains, my mission site, or for watching orcas in the ocean. I measured myself and allowed a couple more inches for comfort and it fits amazingly! Loose enough in to layer under and move my arms freely, and fitted enough to not be baggy or annoyingly in my way and making that gross slippery crinkly rain material noise. I ordered it in white, and it looked exactly like the picture- so pretty I almost didn't want to take it out of the box! Also, it feels amazing on. Even in 94 degree weather and no cloud in the sky, I didn't want to take it off! I look forward to all the adventures and memories I'll embark on wearing my newest Northface Rain Jacket! Definitely worth every penny!

I have had this jacket for the past few years and it has been absolutely perfect. It is lightweight which makes it great for the weather here in Ontario where it rains but is still humid. I have never had any issues! The only reason I am buying a new one is because my old one (sadly) got misplaced.

This jacket is awesome...lightweight and repels rain very well. I love the gray/aqua color combo too! Medium sleeves a little long on me but I'm shorter. 5'5. Overall, great purchase!!!

This seems to be a perfect jacket for a active, messy, ten year old, and her dad. If she, ten year old, gets cold or wet during a camping/fishing/outdoor activity then I, dad, go home. We like to stay outside as long as possible. Solid jacket.

Love this raincoat! Every member of the family has one currently or has had one in the past. My daughter recently grew out of her children's XL so bought her a women's M. She thought it was a bit too narrow (although I thought it looked great on her) so we returned it for a L.

Purchased this jacket before my trip to Ireland. All I've ever heard about Ireland is how rainy it is and figured this would be a
Necessary purchase. Well we lucked out weather wise for the majority of the trip, sunny clear skys. I was starting to think I wouldn't get much use out of my new rain jacket. That all changed on our walking tour of Dublin today. Not only did it rain, it poured! While my shoes were soaked I remained dry thanks to my north face resolve jacket! Thank you!!

I was very pleased with my purchase. The sizing chart made me nervous (I normally do not buy online). I am tall (5'9") and thin and it was suggesting an XS. I was worried that the arms/torso would not be long enough. It was PERFECT! The arms are long enough and it sits right at my hips. I can still fit a hoodie under the jacket so it is just snug enough (I like my rain jackets to fit snug). I have worn it several times in rain and have been kept dry. GREAT purchase for one of their less expensive items!

I have been very pleased with this jacket! It is lightweight but also warm enough for layering with long sleeves if it's chilly out. Very water-repellent; I went sailing and was able to just brush the spray off. Highly recommended.

My Short Review:
Inspector Gadget's trench coat has nothing on the North Face Resolve jacket. Buy it and keep yourself drier than the "Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson.
My Longer Review:
I have no idea why you haven't bought one of these jackets for every single person in your family of every single age yet. What are you waiting for? You should probably buy a Resolve jacket for the family members you don't even like and dread seeing on high holidays. Seriously, don't even wrap it and box it up. Hand it to them and say, "Let's not talk until Christmas 2017, sound like a fair shake?"
In all seriousness, this jacket is perfectly lightweight and 110% waterproof. You have your North Face Exertion Triclimate jacket for the Winter season, you have the North Face Apex Bionic jacket for the Fall months and now you have your North Face Resolve jacket for those rainy days and Spring months when you're walking from the train to your office building and you know you're going to be sweating like crazy in your soft shell even though beach season is rapidly approaching and you've been putting in overtime at the gymnasium. The body of the jacket fits true to size and its a great length but I did find the arms to be a little bit too wide and disproportionate in comparison to the rest of the jacket. I curl 75 lb dumbbells at the gym four times a week (humble brag or embarrassing admission?) and the arms are still kind of big on me. I'm not exactly Hulk Hogan over here but I'm not Doug Funny either. Doesn't matter either way though because this jacket is top notch and the only jacket you will need this spring. The only real consideration is whether or not you want the adjustable velcro closures at the bottom of the sleeves. I did not so I got the Resolve jacket. If I did I would have bought the Venture jacket.
I'm Team Resolve Jacket all day every day but I respect the pit-zip vent game the Venture jacket is bringing to the general public.
