I bought the jacket because it's light weight and water proof

I bought this jacket in two sizes so I could choose the one with the best fit. It is a ladies cut, so it is more fitted than I prefer. For winter wear with a sweatshirt or sweater underneath I had to size up. The shoulders and arms were cut a little smaller than I like, but going up a size solved the problem. It's a great jacket! I love the material. It's lightweight and breathable and a beautiful color.

The jacket is very nice and fits true to size it is very easy to put on for winter weather or for breezy weather.

I use this product to layer over my clothes depending on what kind of weather it is outside. Most recently, I used it on my honeymoon to Las Vegas, NV at the end of February. It was perfect for the mild/chilly temps over a t-shirt and on windy/rainy days over warmer clothes. The hood is a little bulky when it is stored in the collar but not terrible. I mostly left the hood out when I was wearing the jacket.

I absolutely love this product. I am a religious North Face Wearer. My old North Face coat was similar to this one that I just received, but the problem with my old one was the zippers didn't have zipper covers, and they got worn out and would open after being zipped up. Luckily, this new coat has the zipper covers, which makes it harder for the zipper to wear out. I absolutely love this coat's fit on me, it looks fresh and stylish. I will definitely be buying another coat soon. Maybe in a different color this time.

I was hoping to get the older style but they don't make it anymore, however I really like the newer Style now that I have it! You cannot go wrong with North Face apparel!
