Love this jacket! Fits true to size & is lightweight. Love that the hood can be packed away. The only thing is the fleece lining on the collar. It tends to snag my hair sometimes.

Bought this for a 3 day hiking trip up a volcano and I needed a rain jacket to possibly layer over my fleece jacket if the weather acts up but I wanted to look cute doing so. The fabric repels water so well I don't get drenched underneath it at all, it's light enough to keep in my backpack or tie it around my waist and the color is too cute!! Once I saw the faded rose/fig color, I was hooked. In certain lightings, it does come off as more of a salmon pink/coral especially in photos but for the most part, it's a beautiful pale-ish pink in person I like all those color variations anyway, so its perfectly fine with me. The 2 zippered front pockets are nice and big its actually useful- I get to store my plus size phone and other essentials in them. Overall, such a good buy!

This product is definitely not waterproof. I have gone through two of these coats now because I assumed the first coat was defective and exchanged it for another. They both seemed promising at first with beads of water rolling off of them but within a minute or two water begins to absorb and soon enough the coat is soaked through. I expected more from a North Face coat and this evening I will be taking my second coat back and buying a Mountain Equipment Co-op raincoat. Do not buy this if you would like to stay dry.

Do not buy this jacket if you want something that is truly waterproof! I cannot tell you how sick I am of products being advertised as "waterproof" that are at best, water resistant. I expected better from the North Face. I bought this explicitly because I needed something to be actually water PROOF for biking and hiking in the rain. I wore this today in moderately heavy rain to the post office and back today--about 20 min total in the rain, and water was soaking through all over the place. My phone was zipped up in one of its pockets and was wet, and my shirt under the jacket was all wet. This truly is unacceptable for an item advertised to be waterproof. Do not buy this!

Kept me dry in a monsoon! Ok, just really heavy rain, but I was still dry where I was covered by the jacket.

I love this jacket, it keeps me dry no matter how hard it rains and I love how cute it looks. I can even layer it with a sweater underneath.

Bought for vacation in Seattle. Wear regularly nice lite weight jacket.

I mainly use my jacket both locally for rainy days and for hikes and travel to destinations that are either cold or rainy. It is comfortable and allows room for layering on cold days. The color is stupendous and makes my heart sing.

This is my wife's second Resolve 2 Jacket. The first one lasted 15 years. Great design and durability. Great gift idea for the loved one on the go.

It's a nice standard jacket.

I give this jacket 5 stars because it is a good jacket...but...not for winter weather. I made the mistake of buying it during winter...and it is equivalent to a light rain jacket. Northface states it's water resistant, but the jacket got wet a few times and my clothing underneath got wet. I'd say this is good for hiking on cooler days, just not during Winter & Rain.

I love layering this with my other North Face when it is colder out. I love the slim fit it has instead of looking bulky. The waterproof material is a plus too!

This is by far the best quality rain gear I have ever owned. Quality fabric plus excellent styling make this the perfect all-around rain jacket for any active woman.

Good quality

Runs small, but very lightweight and waterproof. Great for days that are just chilly, doesn't provide warmth.
