Returned to the store.

Since I have owned -- and loved -- North Face rain gear for over 15 years, I never hesitated when it came time to replace my wife's rain jacket. I found the Women's Resolve Jacket and it seemed like a perfect Christmas present. It has everything that I wanted (and knew my wife would, too): it was lightweight, well-made, got a very high rating in customer reviews and seemed perfect -- so I ordered one. It was the exact same size and very close in style to her other North Face jacket that was starting to show signs of wear. My only complaint is that this one seems to have been cut differently; it was "tucked", as if it were a tailored women's shirt rather than a rain jacket. There is no way that it can be worn over any other item other than perhaps a T-shirt. Unfortunately I will have to send it back and now I am unsure with what I can replace it. It doesn't seem typical of a North Face product in terms of sizing. I'm disappointed, but I still love North Face gear, I'm just wondering if they are starting to save on material or if this sizing is only specific to this particular jacket...

It's super practical. I am a teacher and rainy days are tough in the rain for bus duty! The hood protects my hair and that's well worth the cost!

Live the color

I have been using the jacket for winter running in sub-zero temps a with base layer and compression jacket or fleece. The jacket has been great against the wind and snow flurries. My only issues have been the zipper which splits at the bottom about every two times I wear it. Also, the cuffs are elasticized but not enough to keep the wind out. It would be also be helpful if you could tighten the cuff with velcro or pulls. Otherwise, I love the jacket and am happy I purchased it.

Jacket looks great! I wish the outer material wasn't so thin.

This jacket is for our niece that is in her first year at college....wanted this jacket specifically and we were unable to find it in the stores. Found it online and it was shipped fast!

This is a great rain jacket, however, it lacks in the warmth department.

I love the jacket. Problem was that it is not true to size. In another North Face jacket, I wear a Small, but in this style jacket I had to re-order from a Small to a Medium. The $7.00 return fee was charged for return shipping, so that was a minus.

This is a very nice jacket, very lightweight but that's what I was looking for. I'm 5'6" 127lb and ordered a small. I have another north face jacket in a small that fits just right. This fits a little differently, arms are a little shorter than my other jacket but a medium would have been too wide/boxy. I ordered the surf green which is darker than the online photo but I actually like it better. It's expensive for the amount of material but totally worth is because I'll be wearing it everywhere!

Ordered based on sizing from North Face. It fit as long as I only had a light weight shirt on. Could not wear a sweater under it. So I returned it and ordered a larger size.

The jacket was thinner than I expected when I first saw it. It's a pretty thin jacket but for how thin it is, it does the job well. It's waterproof and it's a good wind breaker. It's really helpful for layering. I've gotten many compliments of the style because it's super cute! The price is a little too much for how thin the jacket is, but overall, I love this jacket. I wear it all the time and it goes well with a lot of clothes. I love how easily compactible the jacket is because I can shove it in my purse or backpack without the bulkiness.

This jacket is great with cold weather and when it is raining you won't get wet. This jacket is one of the best things that I have invested in very happy with this purchase.

I wear lots of scarves and they constantly stick to the velcro and it gets dirty looking...I think snaps or nothing would be better. Also the velcro to hold the hold would be better if there were a zipper.

Love this jacket, it isn't too big or bulky.
