Very lightweight. Just enough room for a layer beneath in colder weather.

Is very light and good

Love this jacket! It's great to wear when the weather is wet as well as for casual wear. I also love the mesh interior so that the jacket doesn't stick! I wish it was a little more ventilated, though.

I ordered this jacket in the blackberry wine and the color was beautiful. The fabric was also a soft not too noisy material like a lot of rain jackets can be. The only problem for me was that even though I ordered the xs the length and the sleeve length were too long for me because I am very petite at 5’1” The only other thing I didnt like about this jacket is that the sleeves didnt have a Velcro closure on the sleeve so you could tighten them. In my experience elastic sleeves tend to stretch out over time. I am surprised that north face didn’t include this detail on this jacket as every other jacket Ive seen has this feature. Otherwise this seems to be a good rain jacket

I ordered this jacket in blackberry wine and although the color was beautiful, the fit just wasnt right for me. I am petite at 5’1” and this jacket was just too long and the sleeves were also just too long. I also didnt like the fact that the sleeves didnt have a tab on them to tighten them around the wrist. I have found with experience that the elastic around sleeves tend to stretch over time and you dont want to get rain up your sleeve. The fabric was pretty soft, i did like that, it wasnt too noisy like some rain jackets can be.

I ordered the wine color and I think its absolutely gorgeous. It was on sale for being last season’s color but I didnt care! Unfortunely I decided to return it for two reasons. One, it was too long for me in the torso and the sleeves as I am petite at 5’1” and I had already ordered the xs. I really wish that manufacturers would go shorter than they do as the sizes get smaller, they really dont shave off much, or offer petite sizes as there are plenty of us short women out here! The second reason for returning is that the sleeves didnt have a Velcro closure with a tab, they only had elastic and from past experience I have found that elastic sleeves tend to stretch out over time and then rain gets in and viola, your underlying sleeves are wet. I haven’t seen a higher end rain jacket without loop closure in a long time so I didnt even think to check for that feature when I was purchasing this jacket. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I’m just grateful that Zappos has such a wonderful return policy, its the reason they are my go to online store, that and their quick shipping!

Before my new jacket, I had a North Face that I've had for 7 years. It served me well but I knew there was something always off, it was too big for my frame and size. So this go around, I got one smaller. It was my glass slipper, it fit perfectly!

Love it for Everyday use

I like mesh lining, it's comfortable. Keeps you dry in heavy rain.

Bought this because I needed a waterproof jacket for a vacation. Did finally get to test it out today during a short rain burst. It was water repellent, way better than the other brand I bought that I got soaked in. Did zip up and the zipper split open at the bottom. Not sure if I'm going to keep because of that reason.

I love this jacket because it keeps me nice and dry on the rainy days.

Good quality and lightweight. The only part I don't like is the collar , it is too straight.

The sleeves r not long enough for the size it is. It is great for when it rains.

My daughter wanted inside pockets. Wouldn't you think that every utility jacket that is protecting you from the elements need some inside compartments or pockets.

Tighter than expected in shoulder/back area. Will exchange for larger size.

Breatheable and light and protects me from rain and keeps me warm

Color- we ordered asphalt Grey, and the Tag said asphalt grey, but the color we got was black. So either the tag was wrong, or the color on your website Does not reflect the actual color of your jacket. The jacket is nice though other than the disappointing color.

For the snowy/cold weather going to work or the mall/grocery store

Perfect for the cool wet weather I was looking for..

Love the style and fit of the jacket, wish it had a small warm lining to it.

Use it for more of a shell in the snow.
