Bought this for my mom as a gift and she wears it out, at work whenever the weather is appropriate for it, like windy or rainy days.

I was looking for a waterproof and windproof jacket. That's is exactly what I got.
I would have liked a slightly warmer jacket but all in all, it's a good one!
Love the color. They call it blue, but it's more purple than blue to me!

Overall I'm loving this jacket...except the hood feels a little short. When I wear my hair down, the hood extends beyond my face as you would expect to shield my face from rain. However, when I have my hair in a bun (let's be real, like alll the time), the hood *barely* covers my face. Not a deal breaker, but definitely something to keep in mind!

I bought this for my 20 y/o daughter and she loves it. She's a very petite female and the medium size gives her enough room to wear a hoodie under it comfortably. It's waterproof and has a hood, which was exactly what she wanted. No complaints.

I had a similar North Face Rain Jacket from years ago, there was some problems with it, and North Face gave me a gift certificate for replacement as part of the 100% guarantee. I was very pleased with this. I went through the website and used the Fit Finder. My old jacket was a Large, but the fit finder stated I needed at XXL. I got the jacket and it was WAY TOO large. Went by the store, and tried on Jackets. the Large fit, but felt more comfortable in the XL (especially with layering). the sales associates quickly helped me exchange the old and reorder a new one in the correct size and requested color. I received the new Jacket, and it fits great and I love the color. (the original jacket was brick red, the second was purple/yellow).

The product looked nicer but it was thinner than I expected. I thought it would be more like a coat but turned out to be like a windbreaker.

Love this jacket. I'm not a fan of jackets with hoods, however I made a change when it came to this jacket. I bought the jacket specifically for walking my dog in the wet PNW weather. The hood comes in handy. I like the material and the movement I have in the jacket. The hood is nice in that it stays on my head (rather than slide everywhere like other hoods). I like the grey color. There are zippers under the arms so in the event I get warm (which is likely) I can open these up and still feel comfortable.

I ordered the coat for running and hiking in the rain on the West's coast. I think it's cute, but the heather gray is very light. The picture looked darker. And it ran big. I'm usually a small. But this small was way long in the arms and big in the torso. So I'm returning for XS. Luckily you can bring it to the store to exchange or return.

I'm too skinny. Size XS still feels a little bit big for me. I think 100 Lbs will be fit.

I ordered this online as I was in the market for a rain jacket. Ultimately, it was not exactly what I wanted, so I will be returning it. I love TNF products and have always been pleased by the quality and style, but I need a jacket that will provide more warmth.

Nice Rain coat, if you in the rain or wind it's nice. Also, for the person who only like a super thin jacket. The style and features are great. Cost is a little high for something so thin but the features make up for the light weight.

My aunt knew i was planning a trip in April , she wanted to get me something i was eventually going to need. She could not have picked a better jacket. this is super light weight and folds into a small pouch which is my favorite thing about this jacket. I tested it out in a heavy rain storm and my undershirt and hair did not see water. The wind protection is okay as well , can not prevent it from going in through the sleeves and neck but it was manageable. Can not wait to use it on my trip!

I bought this jacket in the hopes that a 2X would allow some room for layering and the size seemed way too big considering how the XL fit. I love the color and was very excited but once I received it I was sad to see the jacket had little to no ventilation it just ended up not being what I was looking for but still a nice Jacket.

Thinner than expected. Thought it would have a little insulation but only has a thin mesh layer. Still a very nice jacket for rainy days. Runs a little big, daughter usually wears a womens medium but due to the size chart I ordered a small. Still a little big on her.

Loved this rain jacket. Had to replace a previous north face jacket so I knew I’d love this one just as much.

I am please with the overall color and design of the jacket and appreciate the hood that actually covers my forehead, however I found the sleeves on my womens XL to be a bit short when my arms extend, I am about 5'9. I suspect this may cause some wicking of the layers underneath. Overall I will wear this jacket casually. On more note the bright yellow on the inside reminds me of an old raincoat I had a kid. It is a fun splash of retro color.

Rain jacket, nice wind breaker on walks. Nice to add a layer for warmth if needed.

In spring, summer, fall, this is my go-to jacket for rainy days and when I need a lightweight extra layer.

I've always wanted a white north face and couldn't find the right one. My boyfriend got me this for my birthday and I love it. I wish it didn't get dirty so easy but a small price to pay :)

I had hoped to wear the Venture 2 while running and hiking. The non-heathered versions are very lightweight (the heathered versions have a different texture and slightly heavier fabric, boo). Breathability seems decent; I haven't found a rain jacket with breathability that I'd rate as great.
I love the fit of the body of the jacket. I usually have to size up to have enough room in the shoulders, but this jacket married a good range of motion in the shoulders with a feminine fit.
However, the hood is a different story. The hood is too small for me to wear a ponytail or small bun while simultaneously have the (also too small) visor cover even where my forehead meets my hairline, let alone the rest of my face. So the hood keeps the back of your head dry, but not the front.
I also wonder why TNF didn't make the collar capable of storing the hood when not in use. Even worse than losing the convenience of not having the hood flopping around, the lack of collar means that not wearing the hood (let's say you've got a hat on in the rain) leaves the back of your neck and your back vulnerable to getting wet while water pools in the unused hood. I'll be exchanging this for the heavier Resolve Plus model that has this feature and hope not to mind the heavier construction.
