I am constantly on the Lakefront in Chicago, rain or shine, cycling or running. I've been searching for a lightweight jacket that is truly waterproof (I learned my lesson in a monsoon during an overnight trail relay race earlier this year), and I found it in the Venture jacket. Don't be fooled by the lightweight fabric, this jacket is tough and I am confident it can hold its own against the heaviest downpours. Easily packs into it's own pocket for convenient storage in a hiking pack, and the color is exactly what I expected. A necessary evil. however, due to being waterproof: this jacket can get toasty quickly when it's not cool outside. Then my arms stick to the sleeves. I'll take a little sweat over leaking seams, though. Ordered in accordance with other size of TNF jackets I own, and this one is true to size. No need to switch it up if you're familiar with the brand!

Great for a hike on a cloudy day, or to throw on during a storm to stay dry while commuting. Great colors too.

Love, Love this jacket. I bought my first one several years ago in eggplant and it's still in great shape. Just wanted a different color. I have used it in mild temps and in cold with a light sweater underneath.

Love the Venture jacket. Perfect for warmer weather to protect from rain or as a light jacket. Wears well and dries quickly. Highly recommend.

Love this jacket ! I will admit I was hasty to order this jacket without trying it on, Because i was unsure of the fit ! But when I got the jacket, it exceeded my expectations! I'm a full figured woman, and not only did the jacket fit, but I was a little roomy as well !! I love how the north face takes plus sized women into mind ! that is wonderful ! U.S. Plus sized women want to fell fashionable as well !!

Wanted a jacket that was lightweight and a windbreaker. It fits the bill. I will be going to balloon fest in Albuquerque in the fall and I definitely will be wearing this jacket.

Love this raincoat keeps me dry and is lightweight..easy to carry..only thing is the sleeves feel a little too long..im a petite 5'3 125 lbs and ordered a small...

I live in western Maine and it rains at least once a day almost every day during the summer. This jacket is lightweight enough for me to wear even when it is humid and hot while it's raining. I bought this a size larger than I usually buy my clothes so that I can fit a sweatshirt under it on cooler days and it was the perfect choice! Love it and look forward to using it all the time!

I love this jacket! It is very functional but fun at the same time. The blue and pink combination is cute, and I get complements on it all the time! The sleeves are a little long for me, but I roll them up and it shows the pink trim, which works out.

My 16 year old daughter loves this jacket. The slightly longer style works great for her! She loves the bright color.

This jacket was perfect! I initially bought it for a 10 day walkabout hike in Yosemite, in which it was perfect for. It kept me nice and dry but not to hot and when it got cold it was easy to layer a fleece underneath. I now use it when I go running and cycling which its awesome for because I can open the air vents and I don't get to hot!

Most comfortable rain jacket!

Bought this for my daughter for work.. WV has been unseasonably wet this summer. It has kept her dry in the worst of downpours.

This jacket is great for rainy weather and is lightweight so it's easy to pack. I'm going to Machu Picchu later this year and while it'll be hot there, it rains often so I know this jacket is perfect for it.

I bought this jacket a few days ago, and used to make a hiking on a mountain, to super high, which was cold and rainy, I really felt always dry and no humidity, and also prevented through the cold to me another layer of clothing. However, I fell to my leisurely walk while trying to cross a stream, which came out of the water immediately and I can really say is waterproof !, and I had my phone in my pocket and nothing happened water! haha
