This was purchased for my daughter to wear at college.

With El Nino looming for Southern Calif. this winter, it's the perfect weight for multiple activities as well as cute enough to go out in! Love it!!!

I tested my new jacket for the first time on a mountain hike in Colorado. There was a breeze and the temperature was in the mid-40's at the beginning of my hike. Rain was in the forecast so I threw my coat on over my warmth layer and took off. What I have concluded from my first wear is that this jacket will accomplish everything I was hoping it would. The jacket provided both warmth and wind protection besides keeping the rain out. (We got caught in a mountain shower.) I could move easily in this jacket both running and hiking. I will be using this coat during the wet snows in Minnesota this winter as I believe this coat, when layered, will provide enough warmth and protection for most of the winter days. As for fit, currently I wear mediums in most things but decided to order a large so I would have room to layer. I also have problems often times with sleeve length with mediums so that also played into the decision to order a large. I am very happy that I did. I believe that this jacket runs true to size and when I put it on I was pleasantly surprised to find the arm length was plenty long, even for a large. This made me very happy! Overall, I would recommend this jacket. It will be going with me everywhere!

I love this jacket. It is cute, matches everything, is waterproof, and can we work with a sweater under to keep you warmer.

Just wish it had snaps. Velcro doesn't keep it closed very well.

I love the fit and style of the coat. It is also big enough that you can wear layers under it!

Gift for my Daughters birthday. She loves it, but we didnt receive the color she wanted but still loves the jacket.

Thus jacket is perfect for cool, damp, wet weather. If you have to go out in this weather, the Venture jacket is the one!!

Living in Tucson, I thought as soon as I purchased a rain jacket, we'd never see rain again, but I've already had to use the jacket and while looking stylish, it kept me completely dry. Love the color and fit. Also very well made. I highly recommend!

Having lived in Portland OR for 16 years I own several thousands of dollars of Gortex gear and it is all NORTHFACE. You can save some money and buy knockoffs but in my opinion you get what you pay for; I have my fav jacket for 13 years and won't let it go!!! . I now live in Jacksonville FL and the hurricanes of late has brought more rain than ever with more approaching. I purchased this gift for my fianc so we can continue our Saturday morning "Walking the Bridges" in downtown Jax...even in the pouring rain!!! This is my second Venture jacket. My first met with a stain accident, and I never shopped around for a replacement. I knew that I wanted another one. It's comfortable, water repellent, and packs away neatly for travel. It gets a bit hot, but the ventilation zips help enormously.

I absolutely love this jacket. I had previously had a rain jacket from north face and decided it was time to get a new one. One of my attributes of this jacket is the tight hairline hood! I wear this jacket to bike to school, walk around school, in windy, cold or wet weather. Its the perfect layering jacket. I layer it with a black fleece northface and am super warm. Where I live is super windy and cold, and this light jacket does what a bulky thick jacket does, without the bulkiness. Its incredible what this size jacket can do. Super versatile, and light! I also enjoy running with it because it has breathable armpit zippers to let some air flow in. And when I get hot, its light enough to tie around my waist. This is also a great jacket for hiking for its light weight. My family lives in oregon, so I wear it all the time when I am home, because you never know when its going to rain. This jacket is not only rain resistant but rain proof! Definitely a must buy!!!

I use this product almost everyday. I live in an area that is pretty rainy and cold and this jacket is awesome. I had tried on my college roommates and walked across campus and in that 10 minutes I knew I needed one. After that I went back and bought my own!

Great lightweight comfy jacket! I get tons of compliments especially on the color. I got turquoise blue looks great on my olive skin tone.

I use this jacket while walking outdoors and biking. Superior wind resistance and great waterproof qualities! The jacket is lightweight, and has a good number of pockets. I have loved this jacket so much that I have purchased it for family gifts. Great overall purchase and definitely worth every penny!

Why is this jacket so fabulous? Because of the raglan sleeves! It's unusual to find that style sleeve in a sporty jacket but here it is! I am only 5'4" tall and love the way any type of raglan sleeve fits me as a petite. I will probably need to buy this same jacket in an additional color. Good job North Face Designers!!!
