TL;DR: Tiny woman buys kids shoes. Shoes are awesome but adult version is a little better still. I am a very petite and full-grown woman with a size 4 foot. As such, I can either get size 5 shoes which are a bit big, or wear kids shoes. I bought the Speedcross kids shoes in size 3 as well as the women's shoes in size 5 to compare. While the kids size 3 is my actual size, and the style is really quite fetching, I do have to say that probably for obvious reasons, the adult shoes are actually more technical. The arch support is far better and there are details in the adult shoes that make them feel a bit more "serious", though you would never know from looking at them. I'll be sending the kids shoes back, because I can really only keep one, and because I really wanted a very technical trail running shoe. I figured that with thicker socks the adult shoes were my best bet. However, I really just wish Solomon made women's shoes in a smaller size because their shoes are amazing . If I were using these to kick around, I would love them, and they are totally appropriate for kids who grow out of their shoes and don't need the same things us very active old fogeys do.

Really well made and durable. I would say that they run a half size small and are good for kiddos with narrow feet. We will definitely purchase again after our daughter outgrows this pair.

Our family loves Salomon & they wear so well for kiddos. We bought these because of the new garage system (where the laces tuck in now from the TOP of the mesh garage) making them much easier for kids to put on themselves. Will be back when the outgrow these.
