I hope these never get discontinued. I have 3 in each long sleeve and short sleeve. I wear them like a uniform when traveling for work.

I own four of these shirts and like them immensely. The shirt is comfortable to wear in a multitude of environments. I travel internationally regularly and the shirt always looks awesome.

After buying one in dark purple a couple seasons ago, I have since gotten the graphite and hemingray (which resembles an almost light mint green) from this '16 season. I'm pretty close to getting the boreal and admiral next. You have to be pretty bold to rock the Aspen color. If you climb that hard you probably don't have a shirt on anyways. I kid, I kid. But seriously, try that one on in-person before buying online. I have a fairly relaxed dress code at work so I wear this shirt with jeans or pair it with the A2B shorts (capri) with the Arakys shoe or some loafers. I bouldered at the gym with this shirt on a couple times and I sweat profusely. This will need to be laundered IMMEDIATELY or will retain odor. Also when I was doing some dynamic movement, while sweating, I thought i was going to tear the seams of the shirt; but nope it held up fine to that pesky V7 in the cave at BKB. It still gets 5 stars because under casual wear it smells fine. Sometimes the collar creases funny and it might require some effort to flatten it out. Also the shirt is so lightweight I wouldn't put anything heavier than a pair of bluetooth headphones or your metro card+ID+credit card in the breast pocket. The snap buttons are flush/hidden and I'm not sure how well they will hold up in 3+ years.

Bought one SS version and after wearing it once to dinner I was amazed by its overall comfort, however after inspecting it the next morning I had some pilling and a pulled thread. No drinks were involved and i am very careful and aware so I was very disappointed for having that happen after wearing one time. To make it up for it I went out and bought three more, two more SS and a LS. 5'10" 160lbs size medium fits me perfectly!

I bought this shirt in a large a year ago and since then I knew I wanted to wear it all the time but it was too big. Now I bought the medium and the shirt is even better because of the slim fit. But don't worry. It's not too slim, it's just in between comfort and slim. It's easy to clean and you never have to iron it. I love it and can only give it my best recommendations. It's funny how a shirt could be so different, but it is! I wear it on work, home, under my motorcycle wear and when I'm hiking.

My favorite short sleeve button up ever. Have a similar shirt from Kuhl that I also like. This one is slightly dressier with a nice aesthetic cut for the front pocket. This shirt works great when I'm at the office by the beach. It allows easy range of motion which I need for my line of work and allows me to be more casual than the office in the city, but still professional. I've also traveled to various Pacific islands with this shirt. It does stick a little bit if you're really perspiring, but it's just a matter of wash in the sink and hang dry overnight.

As others stated this is indeed a very comfortable shirt. So far I wore it at work but with the UPF rating it has and the very nice wicking properties(there were some really hot days) I think it willl fit perfectly in most outdoor trips I will make. The material is very soft and smooth to the touch...I like the strech of the fabric

While the temperatures are high, there is no shirt more comfortable than the Skyline. It is very light and breathable but still dressy enough for the office.

I currently have two of these, and am planning on buying a third. It's the most comfortable, and perfectly-fitted piece of clothing i've ever used. I'm finding myself using it for work (business-casual days), hiking, biking, everyday use, and just about anything else. I had once contemplated purchasing a similar shirt to this one from another company, and needless to say, it was nothing like this one. Just buy it!

Very comfortable! I was concerned how this fabric would do after washing it and it looks as good as it did from day 1.

One of the most comfortable shirts I have ever worn. Wicks moisture very well and feels very soft against your skin. It also has a great range of movement because of the stretchy fabric and gusseted underarms.
I highly recomend this shirt.

I have 6 of the skyline shirts and love how they fit. The new style with the exposed zipper begins to sag a little and does not look as clean and sharp as the older style with the pocket flap. Please bring back the old style. So much nicer.

whats not to love about this shirt it wears well washes well packs well. Only drawback is Arc seems to discriminate against larger sizes.

By far my favorite shirt and I own several. But please change back to the unique flap pocket. The zipper pocket makes the shirt look like so many other shirts on the market. The previous flap pocket made the shirt look more classy and modern.

Last years snaps were made of metal. I was disappointed that this years snaps were made of plastic. They don't seem to be as secure while snapped.

Have owned previous generations of this shirt which were fantastic. I loved the metal snaps, flap pocket and accent color on the neck. The new version seems really cheaply made with plastic buttons and a fabric that seems to be charged with static to the point that it's unwearable. Even if I line dry it - it'll be good for a minute and then very quickly become clingy and unwearable.

My husband bought 6 Skyline shirts for a trip. He has worn these shirts for quite a while, and we can't say enough good things about them (they look smart for work or social events, they are comfortable and lightweight and they breathe). The new ones arrived, and on all 6 shirts, the snaps don't line up, especially at the bottom, resulting in a puckered appearance, where the hem lies at an angle on both sides, instead of lying flat. I hope that Arcteryx fixes this problem quickly. We are left in the lurch with an upcoming vacation and no shirts.

I own about 15 short-sleeve Skyline shirts in most of the available colors (plus a few long-sleeve). Nearly half were purchased recently as part of a last-ditch stock up of the old design. As many others have mentioned, the character of this shirt has significantly changed. The new design is much lighter and has a zipper pocket. This would probably be preferable in very hot environments where style is less important. I, however, mourn the loss of my beloved "wear it to work every day, go straight to the climbing gym, take it on a trip to Iceland, wear it almost constantly while filming the "Return to Tuvalu" documentary in the South Pacific, save paper towels by drying your hands on a shirt that air dries in 3 minutes, do anything" shirt. I truly hope you bring back the old design in a rainbow of color options, perhaps as part of your urban/city line.

I own over a dozen of the older Skyline shirts, and I love each of them as members of my own family. I wear them summiting, and I wear them under suiting. I am not against zippers, don't get me wrong. I love zippers. The problem is you fundamentally changed a perfect shirt by adding a zipper. Instead, you should call this new shirt something else like Zipline, and bring back Skyline. Also, when you got rid of the female Skyline shirts years ago, you royally peaved off my wife, and that is never a good business model.

I just don't get it. Arc'teryx is a company that prides itself on high-performance outdoor gear, and this once great shirt is now a lemon! The metal snaps were the bomb. They never opened accidentally, sounded solid, and looked cool. The plastic snap are absolute garbage. They open accidentally, they are not secure, and are of are made of cheap plastic. I have at least 8 of these new shirts. What gives Arc'teryx?

I ordered three of these shirts, one blue, one cinder, one black. They were all size large and that's what the tags on the shirts said, but they each fit differently. Like Goldilocks, I tried them and found which worked.
The blue was tight across the stomach but slouched over my shoulders, like a polyester shirt might fit after it was run through a hot dryer and shrank.
The cinder was easily the size of an XL! I swam in it.
Only the black fit well, which is lucky because I badly needed a black button down shirt. The immediate need is why I didn't return it with the others.
None of this would be a big deal except you charge a lot of money for these shirts. These are supposed to be high quality, but it is does not inspire confidence when the same "large" is actually 3 different sizes. You really need to look into how these are made.

I have 20 twenty of the old style skyline shirts with only a couple new ones as back up remaining and have worn them on cruises for semi formal dining in the Mediterranean to hikes In Machu Picchu. Since Covid19 have worn them to work and get compliments on the nice style. Good thing I got so many of the old but in my opinion from trying on the new design at shops the pockets, the fabrics and the buttons have been either styled down, cheapened and cut altered and from reading other customer reviews Arc'teryx got lost on the trail on this one. I would gladly pay for a more costly version of the old style shirt with the same fabric, style, buttons and loose the cheesy zipper!
