Really wanted to like this one! I have the Pure Flow 4 and love them, but thought a wider toe box sounded interesting. I have a very narrow foot and heel. The right shoe felt fine but the left was just too short no matter what I did. I wear a size 11 athletic shoe and didn’t want to go to an 11 -1/2 because that would make the whole shoe too big.

I've been buying Brooks shoes for a long time now. They always perfectly fit my feet. The last pair I had were a Series 4. This particular pair did not feel the same on my feet at all. The arch supports felt placed differently, there was a lump under the toes that felt odd and uncomfortable to my princess-and-the-pea feet, and the toe box was smaller than past pairs. The shoes look great and are of good quality -- they just can't be relied upon to fit similarly to past pairs if you're a longtime Brooks buyer.

Style is really cute and the neutral color is a nice change of pace from the typical colors being offered in athletic shoes recently. Although the fit was comfortable, the shoe did not offer enough support for my foot.

I've always loved Brooks for my work shoe because I am a respiratory therapist in a large hospital and am on my feet for 12 hour shifts walking about 8 miles per day. They are lightweight, comfortable and pretty durable. My first pair were the Pureflow 2 which were my absolute favorite and My previous pair were the Pureflow 4 which I liked for the most part. The 6 fit a little differently, slightly wider in the toe area which causes my big toe to rub a little. I've only worn them a few days and it's really not bothersome, just noticeable, hoping that getting them broken in will help. Im really happy with the color and style, I got the aqua/grey ones. They are true to size.

I love Brooks shoes and wanted to try this one. I'm not a runner but do like a cushiony shoe to walk in. These are nice on my foot that has plantar fasciitis. I will say the only thing I might not like is, from a style point of view, how round the toe box is. Of course that does create a nice roomy area for those who are runners.

I love the peacock feather pattern on my shoes. They are a fun and comfortable show to run in. Although, honestly I loved the 1st generation of this shoe more than any of the latest models. I wish Brooks would go back the the split toe on the out sole/bottom of the foot - that had so much better response to the road, and now these shoes are just another running show and not as special as the early generations of the PureFlow.

I normally wear 9.5 - tried it, but toes hitting front of shoe. Exchanged for a 10 - which I just received. Same thing happening. Must just be the construction isn't right for my foot. Other than that, comfy shoe, but can't run with toe jams. Am returning.

I run anywhere from 10-25 miles a week and been wearing the Brooks Pure Cadance 4 and was looking for a similar model because I love the lightweight, reflective materials, and arch suport and band tounge that it was designeed with. Everything from the bungie lances, to the durable material, I was looking in my next shoe.
I was dissapointed when I tried on the Pure Cadance 5 because it was narrow and the tounge wasn't constructed as it was in the past. After returning them, I tried the Pure Flow 6 and was VERY happy with this purchase. Unlike previous models, the Pure Flow was the closest shoe to my beloved Pure Cadence 4. The toe box is roomie enough for my wide feed (I purchased normal width and had no problem), it was lightweight but I still miss the banded tounge on the Cadances. Regardless, I was still very happy with my purchase, and was able to even do a crossfit workout in them becasue they're very versatile trainers as well as running shoes. True to size, fit and width!

Really comfortable shoe! Lightweight, flexible, wide toe box too! Liked it a lot! No weird colors (pink, purple, etc. ) that scream "look at me."

I normally wear a 11 in Asic shoes and decided to try the Brooks line. These are much smaller in length! Size up...I ordered a 11.5 and still too small. Love the service Zappos gives!

This is my first time trying the PureFlow. In the past, I've worn the PureConnect, but that line has now unfortunately been discontinued. While these are very comfortable and provide excellent arch support, they don't seem to provide very good air flow. My feet get very hot and sweaty when wearing them, which is something I've not experienced with my other Brooks in the past. I'd say they are best for narrow feet. I have extremely narrow feet, and they are very snug on me. They kind of hug your feet.

I miss the PureConnect.
The PureFlows are attractive, minus the thick white soles. There's very little flexibility to the sole, which is my biggest complaint. The shoe feels quite narrow, plus I had to order a half size up from my normal size. For reference, I'm a size 7.5 in heels, an 8 in Saucony, Nike, Newton, and an 8.5 in these. Atlanta has a lot of hills, so the 8s would have resulted in black toenails.

Width in toe box is much wider than the 4’s & 5’s. Doesn’t work well for my narrow foot. Very comfortable otherwise. No shoe has more cushion than this one! Wish they didn’t change these.

These run about a half size too small, had to return. Because of that, I can't really comment further on the overall comfort. Ended up going with the Nike Pegasus which have the wider toe that I prefer.

I have narrow, flat feet. I prefer to deal with this by putting arch support insoles (Superfeet orange) in a neutral shoe with minimal drop from heel to toe. I had the Pureflow 5 and they worked perfectly for me! I wear a 9 in most shoes, and in the Pureflow 5, I needed a 9.5. I ordered the Pureflow 6 in a 9.5. It is a half size too big! My insoles are now pushing into my arch, causing pain and arch sprains. The entire shoe is much wider than the Purefloe 5, so my narrow foot slips around. I am going to try a 9 instead, and although I anticipate it will be shorter in length, I am concerned it will still be too wide. I'm disappointed in the redesign, as the Pureflow 5 was the first shoe I've been able to run in for years!

Loved the pattern (peacock feather) and seamless design of the shoe, but it felt about a half-size small.

I bought this shoe b/c of the excellent reviews but it still falls short in comparison to the old pureflows. Granted, my last pair was a 2 or 3 but they were awesome. I wear a size 8 in sneakers and these are true to size. Wide toe box as expected. The problem is the cushioning from the arch side of shoe goes long, kind of under the side of the ball of my foot/big toe and is uncomfortable. I want that cushion right under the ball for support but it just feels like the arch is in the way. The style is decent. Glad they got rid of the cloven toe, lol. I'm gonna wear them around the house for a couple days and see if they grow on me. If they do, I'll let you know.

Overall these are ok and I will probably keep them, but there are some definite positives and negatives that make it such that I likely won't purchase again as I want more positives. The toe box is FINALLY wide enough for a normal-width foot. Brooks has been making them so narrow last few years. The low drop and light weight take some getting used to and the tongue rests firmly (too firmly maybe) against the front of the ankle, also takes getting used to. There's really no arch support and my feet make this SLAP SLAP sound as I run and I have NEVER had that happen in any other shoe in my life. I hated listening to it. I do not slop my foot down and am a heel runner so this was very disappointing. The softer shoe is less supportive and I had some knee pain first time out. I'm going to put some arch supports in and hope for the best. Overall, once broken in (ran 6 miles), they were very comfortable but the slapping sound and lack of support are real negatives.

I miss my Pure Connects. I thought I would try these, because reviewers said they were similar in fit. Wrong. In Pure Connects, I wore a 10.5 (a 10 in all my other shoes), but they did not make my feet look large. I had to order an 11 in these to get them to fit and then my feet looked HUGE! I returned them. I'm most likely going to have to change brands, which makes me sad. I refuse to wear clown shoes though.

Comfy and cushy but no lateral support. I felt like my feet could squish around side to side a lot.

I want to love these more than my feet actually do. My toes love the wide toe box and the lack of structure around the tops of the toe box as well. But my feet hurt after extended time in these shoes and my plantar fasciitis has returned. I love the look and the general feel of the shoe when not moving, but I won't be purchasing this style again.

I ordered in a size 12, along with 2 other Brooks’ running shoes. The other 2 fit great; however, this style was too short and also a bit narrow. Loved the style and color, however.
