I've been running in my second pair of Pureflow 3s for way too long. After reading reviews for a half dozen shoes, I decided to take a gamble with the Pureflow 6, despite the mixed reception and the lousy reviews for the Pureflow 5. The 6s are great. They feel SO similar to my Pureflow 3s. I have a wide toebox and a narrow heel - these shoes feel made for my feet. This is the first pair of running shoes that I haven't had to butterfly lace in order to avoid heel slippage! These shoes are also true to size; I wear a 9 in almost all running shoes (8.5 in casual shoes), and the 9s are perfect. My 5 mile city run today was glorious. Right out of the box the Pureflows went on comfortably, and felt cushy yet light. By comparison, the Saucony Kinvara 7s that I also ordered required that I loosen the laces up entirely in order to even get my foot in. They were super restrictive and fit sharply (and painfully) around the top. The Pureflow 6 only loses points on style - the bluebird colors are gorgeous but the fat, boat-like white sole is a bit dorky/geezery. Oh well. I rely on user reviews, so I hope this is helpful!

I have always bought my shoes in the Brooks Pure series.. these are a dream compared to the PureFlow 5 - SO much more room in toe box, I feel like they weren't crushing my toes. The support is a dream and the look is great. I go back and forth between the PureFlow and PureGrit and I think these take the cake, almost want to buy a bunch of them before they change the shoe again. This is the way a shoe is supposed to fit. I was so hesitant to get the 6's because of how much I hated the 5's but I would HIGHLY recommend you take the plunge - especially if you love a 4mm drop like me! I have been training in 4mm shoes for the past 5 years and absolutely love these shoes. Also a huge thing I noticed compared to other PureFlows is there are no seams on the outsides of the shoe/toe area, which is wear my shoes always show wear and tear first. Seems to be one solid piece of fabric if that makes since. These feel incredibly responsive and durable. Thank you for bringing back a more 'solid' not incredibly bright colored shoe that matches all outfits!

Love these. They are so much like the first pair of Pureflows I bought about 5 years ago. They do run small, so I had to go up a whole size.

Finally a return to one of the features that made the original Pureflows so great - return of the wide toebox. My wife and I have been running in the Brooks Pure's since they came out 6 yrs ago. I was unhappy with the changes since the 3. The 4s were OK, but were starting to get narrow and the 5s are very narrow. Now if they'd bring back the burrito tongue it would be perfect again.

I have been looking around for a sneaker, that really didn't look like the bulky sneaker that I usually wear to work. I don't wear sandals, or flipflops I have issues with my foot like arthritis, and Mortons neuroma, quite painfuland have had several surgieries on my foot as well. I work retail and I'm on my feet all day. Saw these and fell in love with all the colors and actually ended up buying 2 pairs one in grey and the other in beige. I also have an very high arch and I can wear my Orthotics without taking out the insert, and I recently did some walking in DC just last weekend and brought these along. No issues what so ever, walked over 15 miles and my foot never ached it was nice to be able to wear a sneaker that didn't look like a sneaker and actually be comfortable on my foot all day. I have an extremely hard time finding shoes that are comfortable on my feet and this one I can't wait to order another pair. I've had a lot of compliments on these sneakers, and they are just fabulous. The selection is fantastic and the comfort is superb! Super fast delivery through Zappos I had them in my hands within a day. I'm very happy finding something that actually fits comfortably on my feet that I can wear all day without any issues what so ever. I've searched and tried on a lot, and Brooks Pure Flow 6 are the best by far.

Great shoe. I'm training for a half marathon outdoor and treadmill. I had some blister issues on the ball of my foot in the beginning but now it is improving. They are lightweight shoes which I love and they dry out quickly when you hit a puddle. Good air flow.

This is my first pair of running shoes. I spent a lot of time researching different brands ( Saucony, Asic, New Balance, Nike, etc.) as well as read hundreds of reviews. I found that this brand and specific style shoe received superior reviews/ratings. I have ran once in these and so far they seem OK. I felt as if I were developing shin splints due to the angle of my foot (taller support in the ball area compared to the heel so my feet sit at an upward angle). The reason, I am used to running in minimalist style shoes that don't offer as much support as these and allow my foot to maintain a fairly flat position. They are a very light shoe and I LOVE the arch support. I ordered a sz 6 which I typically wear. They are a little tight and probably would've been better off with a 6 1/2; however, once they stretch a little I believe they'll be perfect.

I have an older version of the PureFlow and they fit beautifully. Unfortunately this version has a weird heel cup that is hard, so you feel it against the inside of your foot, just under your ankle, which bothered me just walking around in them. I bought them to run in half ironman races and I can tell they'd rub my foot raw within the first mile. The insert is also too much -- the high arch rubs on the inside of your arch and again, would definitely give me blisters within the first few miles of running. Obviously you can trade out the insert for another one that fits better, but the heel cup is the no-go for me. Love the toe box and the low drop of the shoe--wish that hard heel cup wasn't there.

This is a seriously comfortable shoe, even if they slightly resemble duck feet. The width in the toe box is great, giving your feet plenty of room for shock-absorption when jogging or even power-walking. They have great arch support - not too much (which always irritates my arches) nor too little (which causes foot pain, also). My poor feet that have been through bilateral bunionectomies appreciate these shoes!

I wore Asics Gel Keyano for YEARS until they redesigned the shoe to a narrower fit which I could not wear. I even tried other Asics sneakers to no avail. I'm an avid walker with a neuroma in my right foot. These sneaker are awesome right out of the box. They didn't rub and had ample room in the toe box, light weight and caused minimal irritation to my neuroma. If you're an Asics fan, and not a fan of their new styling, this shoe is a must to try. I've ordered a second pair as backup.

I have multiple pairs of Pureflow 6 in different colors. I always wore the Connect shoes, but those are discontinued, and these are supposed to be the replacement. They are neutral running shoes, and the support is excellent.I wear these running, to the gym, and in normal, every day life. The cushion is amazing, I feel like I am walking on a cloud. I am very particular about gym shoes, and Brooks are the only gym shoe that I will wear. I highly recommend these shoes!

I love Brooks shoes but find that when I find a pair I love, they change it with each new version. I loved my Pure Cadence shoes and finally have found something that feels as comfortable and ready to wear out of the box. I love the PureFlow 6 and will have to order some back up pairs in case they end up changing or discontinuing it. I wear a 7.5-8 but wear 8s in all my Brooks and found this was no exception. Glad to have found a replacement for my well worn Pure Cadence.

If you loved the Pure Flow 1, 2 and/or 3 like I did, you will love the 6. I am so happy Brooks brought back the roomy toe box! I tried the Pure Flow 4 and hated it because it was way too narrow. I didn't bother to try the 5. I have been wearing the Brooks Launch which I liked okay, but I felt like I needed a bit more room for my toes to spread out. I read the reviews of the 6 and gave them a try -- I'm in love with the Pure Flow all over again. I suspect that I will only get about 300 miles out of these, as I did with earlier models -- they are pretty lightweight and in my experience, needed replacing after 3 - 4 months. But I don't care! I'm just happy to have these shoes back again!

I run in Brooks and Hoka One One for some years now. I wanted a light shoe with support. These are the shoes. The arch support is great because of the lower heel. The toe box is wide and allows for spreading of the toes. The only issue I found was that even though I size up to a 9.5 (I wear 8.5 regular shoe) for running, I had to size up to a 10 in this shoe because my toes rubbed the top of the toe box. Thankfully Zappos' return policy made it easy to get the right size. Now for a speedy run.

I loved the first couple models of these years ago but the toe box got too small in subsequent updates. This one has returned to the larger toe box. Very soft feeling shoe. Minimal feel as well. Not super stylish in the grey and pink but I guess it's more important to have a good shoe to run in!

I was looking for something comparable to the fit of Pure Connect. This is not it for me. The arch support starts too far back for my foot, feels like a rock in my shoe. The overall fit was good, roomy toe box, miss the Pure Connect, I loved that shoe. Will be returning these

really wanted these to work but just a tiny bit short on my big toe and a tiny bit narrow for me - also the heel cup while narrow as I prefer tends to be bit stiff, digs in on inner side.

Love these as a basic running shoe! I'm not an avid runner, I tend to lift, do yoga, and then run on a treadmill or run outside during the warmer months for cardio - only around 3 miles max though. I wanted a shoe that would be good for my outdoor runs but still be good for my treadmill running/upper body lifting days and these are perfect! I do also care about style with my workout shoes so these being plain grey are nice since they go with everything and don't look like clunky typical running shoes.

This brand was suggested by a running shoe expert- and definitely delivered! Of course Zappos had the shoes to me in less than 48 hours, and the fit was perfect. I ordered true to size. They are crazy lightweight, and surprisingly supportive. I walk four-six miles in them daily with extreme comfort and no time needed to break them in.
